Nov. 23 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

November 20 – Day Shift

1517 Tombras Avenue (narcotics arrest):

Dameion Eugene Ervin was arrested for possession of Schedule II and VI at the East Ridge Library after library workers noticed an abundance of marijuana odor in the library. Once approached, Ervin admitted to having 1.24 ounces of marijuana and 1.9 gms of methamphetamine on his person. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail. (21-016795).

November 20 – Night Shift

5301 Ringgold Rd (Robbery 21-016826):

Two males entered the Walgreens and robbed the pharmacy. One hopped the counter and had the pharmacist open the safes and took an unknown amount of controlled substances. CID was notified and responded to the scene.  The suspects fled the scene in a silver Mitsubishi sedan

3100 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-016816):

Police attempted to stop a vehicle traveling west in the 3400 block of  Ringgold Road. The vehicle continued traveling at a low rate of speed and after exiting the tunnels came to a stop on the other side. Carlos Yax was taken into custody for resisting arrest, and driving without a license.

1535 Keeble St (Burglary 21-016825):

Residents reported their home was entered that evening while they were gone. Only earrings and Airpods were taken. No forced entry was made.

5700 Roper Street (Unknown Trouble 21-016827):

An anonymous complainant reported a disorder and possible assault at one of the apartments. Police made contact with the female resident who denied any altercation. No injuries were visible.

4214 Ringgold Rd (Warrant Service 21-016830):

An East Ridge warrant was served on Cordaro Myricks for Forfeiture Capias (felon in possession of firearm) at Hamilton County Jail.

3657 Ringgold Rd (Narcotics Arrest 21-016829):

Following a traffic stop at this location. Police arrested Monterell Neal for possession of cocaine for resale, a stolen firearm, and several arrest warrants.

4214 Ringgold Rd (Warrant Service 21-016834):

Richard Clayton was taken into custody on outstanding Hamilton County warrants during a call at this location and transported to Silverdale.

100 75N ( Assist Other Agency 21-016828):

A single GSP unit advised they were chasing a KIA sedan actively shooting at them coming into TN on 75N. Police located the pursuit 75N but were unable to catch up due to high speeds. A single ERPD unit was able to keep eyes on GSP from a distance. GSP advised via radio the occupants again shot at him on Hwy 153. GSP remained alone until HCSO picked up the pursuit around Hixson Pike and 153. The vehicle crashed at 153 and Boy Scout Road. All suspects were captured.

I75 North (Arrest 21-016831):

Dewayne Webb was taken into custody for extradition warrant out of Whitfield Co. Webb was also issued several traffic citations.

November 21 – Day Shift

1535 Keeble Street (supplemental):

Resident called police to advise the suspect in her residential burglary is her former boyfriend. She also stated she is unsure if she’ll pursue charges if he returns the items he stole. (21-016825)

4348 Ringgold Road (disorder):

The manager for Checker’s reported a recently terminated juvenile employee came to the business with several other masked individuals and requested to speak with a juvenile employee he argued with the previous night. The manager advised the parties with the subject were wearing ski-mask type face coverings and were sitting outside on the patio. All parties were gone on arrival. (21-016852).

November 21 – Night Shift

948 Spring Creek Rd (DUI 21-016877):

Jenna Costello was taken into custody for DUI and resisting arrest. Costello was observed by officers exiting her vehicle and then stumbling around her car inspecting damage to a wheel. Costello was transported to Silverdale where she requested emergency medical treatment. She was transported to an area hospital where she fought police and medical staff. She was sedated, medically cleared, and returned to Silverdale for booking. She was additionally charged with assault on police and disorderly conduct.

3600 Ringgold Rd (Public Intoxication 21-016871):

Police arrested Kelly Vaughn for being intoxicated on narcotics at this location.

323 Camp Jordan Pkwy (Weapons Offense 21-016875):

Brian Allen, 18, was issued a misdemeanor citation for Unlawful Possession of a Handgun following a traffic stop.

6708 Ringgold Road (Disorderly Conduct 21-016876):

A convenience store clerk reported an unknown female party caused a disorder inside the store and threw merchandise around. The suspect fled the scene in a possible gray Pontiac prior to police arrival.
