Police Briefs for Feb. 1

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

January 30 – Day Shift

1400 block Mack Smith Road (check well-being):

Police responded to a broken-down vehicle and made contact with an elderly woman who was confused and dizzy. She refused medical attention, and police took her to her home. Police also spoke with her son-in-law who lives two houses down. Her vehicle was secured and left at the convenience store. (22-001365)

5700 Roper Street (theft):

The complainant reported Haley White for stealing $2,400 from his pants. Warrants have been sought for White. (22-001364)

 January 30 – Night Shift

700 block S Germantown Rd (Aggravated Domestic/DUI 22-001390):

A woman reported that her intoxicated boyfriend assaulted her by strangling her and threatening to kill her, after which he fled in his Chevy pickup. Police caught up with the truck in the 3200 block of Ringgold Road and encountered a very intoxicated Chad Bowmar. He was taken into custody for Aggravated Domestic Assault, False Imprisonment, Interference w/ 911 and DUI.

6514 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 22-001387):

Alex Lofty was arrested for possession of a Fentanyl and drug paraphernalia. He also was in possession of four suspicious checks.

5800 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 22-001397):

Following a traffic stop police arrested Douglas Lyles for possession of methamphetamine. A passenger in the vehicle, Adonica Stephens, was taken into custody on Hamilton County warrants for possession of methamphetamine. Both were transported to Silverdale. 

4214 Ringgold Rd (Warrant Arrest 22-001399):

Damon Delassus was taken into custody on an East Ridge warrant and transported to Silverdale for booking.

800 S Germantown (DUI 22-001402):

Dylan Gonzalez Lopez was taken into custody for DUI during a traffic stop.

1706 Keeble Street (Theft 22-001386):

The complainant called police stating two juveniles entered Sunny’s Market and stole an imitation Gucci Bag valued at $16. The complainant stated the juveniles ran into Georgia. Police searched the area with no contact.

6514 Ringgold Road (Warrant Arrest 22-001398):

Stephanie Wilson was taken into custody on active Walker County warrants following an encounter with police at this location.

4214 Ringgold Rd (Warrant Service 22-001392):

Sevierville police took Bonnie Gabbard and Floyd Coulson into custody on East Ridge warrants to await transport back to Hamilton County.
