Feb. 4 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

Feb. 2 Day Shift

805 Summit Avenue (auto theft)

A vehicle was stolen from this address and recovered by CPD prior to the theft being reported. (22-001502)

Night Shift

1410 Mack Smith Road (Hit and Run Arrest 22-001528):

Following a crash investigation involving a hit and run. Sonia Sanchez was taken into custody for driving on revoked for DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, public intoxication.

3704 Fountain Ave (Disorderly conduct arrest 22-001550):

Police were called to this location. Once on scene police discovered a large alcoholic infused disorder. Four parties were ultimately arrested but only after receiving multiple warnings to keep the peace.                                                   

6725 Ringgold Rd (Evading 22-001542): 

Police observed a suspicious vehicle (Blue Dodge Dakota Ga tags: PYL7608) at the Chattanooga Mercantile, possibly attempting to steal from nearby vehicles. A male driver was contacted and believed to be intoxicated. The driver decided to flee police at a high rate of speed.

1100 block McBrien Rd (Disorder arrest 22-001531, 22-001532):

Police responded to a reported disorder with a weapon call where someone was brandishing a knife. Police responded and discovered that the disorder was verbal only. Cassandra Martin was ultimately arrested and charged with disorderly conduct due to her behavior while police were on scene.

600 Camp Jordan Pky (DUI 22-001540):

Destiny Lewis was taken into custody for DUI and simple possession of marijuana after a citizen called about her vehicle sitting in the roadway with her hazard lights flashing.

1502 McDonald Rd (Theft from Vehicle 22-001547, 22-001548):

Police took reports for two vehicle burglaries that occurred at the Life Care Center. Both vehicles had windows broken and items taken.

200 block Eads St (Disorder 22-001549):

Police responded to a domestic disorder. Police could not determine that any assault had occurred. The parties were separated for the night.

4214 Ringgold Rd (Warrant Svc 22-001536):

Robert Carbs was booked on an East Ridge warrant for Alias Capias (Driving on Revoked) while at Silverdale.

4214 Ringgold Rd (Warrant Svc 22-001538):

Pamela Sizemore was booked on an East Ridge warrant for Petition to Revoke (Drug Paraphernalia) while at Silverdale.

183 Interstate 24 West (Crash/DUI Arrest 22-001545):

Saed Alsari was arrested for DUI after he crashed into the rear of a semi-truck on the interstate.
