ERPD Asking for Help in Locating Vehicle Possibly Connected to Fatal Shooting Death

November 27, 2023 By Dick Cook 0 Comments

East Ridge Police Department investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle that may be connected to last week’s fatal shooting of a juvenile on Connell Street.

According to a department press release the vehicle is possibly a 2011 to 2014 black Dodge Charger. The car has chrome wheels and a rear spoiler. The occupants of the vehicle are believed to have vital information regarding the incident.

If you have any information regarding the vehicle or the case, please contact Detective Stojnic at sstojnic@eastridgetn.gov or call the Confidential Tip Line at 423-867-0016.

On Tuesday, November 21, police were called to 5420 Connell St. on a person shot call. When they arrived they found a juvenile male suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injury.

ERPD Chief Clint Uselton said at the time that there is no indication that the death posed any threat to the greater community.
