The City of East Ridge is notifying the public of a scheduled full road closure on John Ross Road at Coleman Circle to allow CTR Coatings to perform necessary rehabilitation work on underground manholes. This work is part of the ongoing East Ridge P3 infrastructure improvement efforts.

The closure will occur on Monday, July 14, and will affect both northbound and southbound traffic. The closure will be from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Due to the location of the manholes along the centerline of the roadway, a full closure is required to ensure safety and allow crews to perform the work efficiently.

Detour Route: Coleman Circle to Laredo Avenue to Bennett Road. Traffic in both directions will follow the same detour route.

Flaggers from Superior Traffic Control will be stationed throughout the detour zone to guide motorists and maintain local access as needed.

This work is expected to be completed within one workday, barring any unforeseen delays. A visual detour map will be shared on the City of East Ridge’s website and social media channels to assist residents and commuters.
