Law and Order Dec. 10

The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

Day Shift December 9 : A Squad

25-012723 – 6100 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop on a Hyundai Sonata displaying an expired tag. The driver stopped at the fuel pump and exited the vehicle. The party disobeyed police commands and fled on foot. After a brief chase, ineffective taser deployment, the suspect was apprehended on Adair Avenue. He was charged with resisting stop, frisk, halt & evading arrest. Langston was found to have outstanding Hamilton County warrants for disorderly conduct, violation of sex offender registry and sexual battery.

25-012716 – 1400 BLK Ringgold Rd. – Unknown Trouble – Police were dispatched to the motel on reports of a male and a female arguing, with the female stating, “he just put his hands on me.” The male suspect was arrested for domestic assault and transported to the jail without incident.

Night Shift December 9: C Squad

25-012744 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a man was served with a Forfeiture Capias warrant through the City of East Ridge. The original charge on the capias was Driving on Revoked, Suspended or Cancelled.

25-012751 – 3600 BLK Glen Oaks Drive – Assist Fire and Medical – Police, Fire and EMS personnel were dispatched to a residence where a man had fallen and was unconscious. Police located the patient and his wife inside the home and assisted the patient until medical personnel arrived. The patient was transported by EMS to a local hospital for further treatment. ERPD provided the patient’s wife with a courtesy ride to the hospital.

He was among reporters who were honored by the Associated Press for the TFP's coverage of the 2002 fog-shrouded crash on I-75 in Catoosa County, Dick and his wife, Cathy, live on Marlboro Avenue where they are seen frequently chasing around their three grandsons.
