Day Shift December 10 : B Squad
25-012760-1300 BLK Saint Thomas Street- False Reports – The caller has repeatedly reported a male was taking nude photographs on the property. Police contacted the referenced male, the maintenance worker, who stated that the tenant dislikes him for unknown reasons. The caller was advised that making false accusations is a criminal offense and should not continue.
25-012761- 3600 BLK Wiley Avenue-Suspicious Vehicle – Police were requested to check on a Ford F150 that had been parked outside this residence throughout the day. Police contacted the owner of the truck who was working in the area and parked the truck out of the way of traffic. He gladly moved the truck, and the RP was informed accordingly.
25-012767-4200 BLK Ringgold Road- Arrest – Police located a vehicle with a stolen license plate. The driver was found to have four warrants out of South Carolina and North Carolina, as well as being in possession of multiple stolen items throughout the vehicle. Police confirmed with Wilmington Police Department in North Carolina that she was the suspect in numerous auto burglaries.
Night Shift December 10: D Squad
25-012771 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – A man reported his clothes were stolen from the hotel laundry room. The desk clerk did not have access to the camera system. Currently, no suspect information is available. ERPD day shift officers have been asked to follow up and review camera footage when the manager is working.
25-012773 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Assault – While an ERPD patrol unit was in the drive-thru, the officer witnessed a driver throw a drink back through the window at an employee. The drink struck the employee in the face, and the suspect tried to speed off. The driver was stopped and identified. The suspect demanded a misdemeanor citation so she could go home instead of going to jail. She was arrested and charged with Simple Assault and transported Hamilton County Jail.
25-012775 – 3500 BLK Mimbro Lane – Burglary – A resident opened her front door after hearing her dog barking excessively. She observed a male wearing a hoodie inside her vehicle with the driver’s side door open. The suspect immediately fled on foot. The resident stated her vehicle door was unlocked, and nothing appeared to be missing from inside. Police checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
