Day Shift December 12: A Squad
25-012820-1500 BLK Tombras Ave.- Suspicious Activity – Police were dispatched to Pioneer Park on reports of a group of teens attempting to take over the park. The caller stated the juveniles had been cursing and acting raucously with small children present. Police spoke with the individuals, and they agreed to vacate the premises.
Night Shift December 12: C Squad
25-012833 – 5300 BLK Connell Street – Traffic Stop/Arrest – Officers observed a White Ford Mustang traveling at excessive speed South on McBrien Road and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody for DUI – Alcohol 4th Offense, Driving While License Suspended (DUI), and Open Container. He was transported to the Hamilton County Detention Center without incident.
Day Shift December 13: A Squad
25-012839 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Warrant Service – TBI alerted dispatch that a party was attempting to buy a firearm. The party had two active Sessions Warrants for disorderly conduct and assault. She was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-012840-4200 BLK Ringgold Rd. – Traffic stop/Arrest – Police observed a red Chevrolet Traverse traveling on the 4200 block of Ringgold Road without a license plate displayed. The officer initiated a traffic stop and found a man to be driving on a suspended license. He was also found to have a nonextraditable warrant out of Catoosa County for failure to appear. Police asked for consent to search the vehicle and found 2.1 grams of suspected methamphetamines along with drug paraphernalia. The subject was taken into custody and charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was also cited for driving on a suspended license and driving an unregistered vehicle.
Night Shift December 13: C Squad
25-012862 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – AOA/Arrest – Units received a call that a wanted suspect for Kidnapping and Battery had a phone locating on Interstate 75 Northbound. Police began searching the area and continued having updates throughout the search for the suspect’s vehicle. While searching, a family member of the suspect contacted the police and informed them of the exact location where the party and the juvenile were. ERPD located both in a hotel room. The suspect was placed in custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail and Detention for warrants of Kidnapping and Battery from Richmond County. The juvenile was taken into police custody until Child Protective Services arrived.
25-012868 – 3600 BLK Helen Lane – Disorder – Three men were involved in a physical altercation. On scene, police observed physical marks and wounds on all parties involved. All parties denied EMS. None of the men wished to press charges at this time. All parties separated for the night.
25-012859 -3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Harassment – Police responded in reference to a harassment complaint. The victim stated that while she was at a restaurant, a couple was able to remotely control her vehicle and possibly took her cat. She was unable to provide a description of the individuals. She was advised to contact police if the individuals attempt to contact her so the matter can be further investigated.
25-012860 – 3400 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Police conducted a traffic stop in the 3400 block of Ringgold after observing a vehicle fail to stop at a posted stop sign. Upon contacting the vehicle, officers detected an odor of marijuana emanating from inside. The driver was asked to exit the vehicle and subsequently admitted to possessing approximately seven grams of marijuana located in the glove compartment. A search of the passenger revealed that the male occupant admitted to possessing a few grams of marijuana in his pocket. Officers seized both baggies of marijuana along with a marijuana paraphernalia tray. All items were logged into evidence for destruction.
Day Shift December 14: A Squad
25-012870- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Alarm – Police were dispatched on reports of an alarm. On arrival, police spoke with a distressed employee who could not remember the code to turn the alarm off. She advised it was accidental.
25-012875-5300 BLK Clemons Rd.- Unknown 911 – Police were dispatched to this address after a caller stated he wanted officers to arrest whoever was responsible for changing the weather. On arrival police spoke with the tenant who advised he had not called.
25-012878-4100 BLK Ringgold Road- Public Indecency – Police were dispatched on reports of a male in a white truck, pleasuring himself. On arrival police spoke with the party who stated he knew engaging in the activity, in public, was wrong. The victim declined to press charges and just wanted police to make him stop. The victim stated she never saw his anatomy but knew what he was doing. The man was issued a criminal trespass warning for the business.
Night Shift December 14: C Squad
25-012893 – 500 BLK Sharondale Drive – Brush Fire – Police and Fire Department personnel were dispatched a possible brush fire at this location. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a power line sparking near a transformer box with burning grass around it. Fire Fighters arrived on scene and extinguished the fire. The Electric Power Board was contacted concerning the issue.
Day Shift December 15: B Squad
25-012902- 3300 BLK Gleason Drive- Disorder – Police responded to this location for a disorder complaint. The parties have been approached multiple times in the past due to issues between the two of them while they are going through a divorce. Both parties were informed that officer presence cannot be a regular occurrence just because they don’t want to be around one another. Multiple calls occurred throughout the shift pertaining to their ongoing issues, and police reaffirmed how the matter was to be resolved in civil court.
25-012904- 6900 BLK Martha Ave- Residential Fire – Police responded to a residential fire at this address and assisted with evacuation prior to ERFD arrive. Police stood by while ERFD controlled the scene.
25-012919-1200 BLK John Ross Road- Warrant Service – Police served attempted a warrant service at this residence. The suspect was taken into custody of three outstanding East Ridge warrants for aggravated assault, false imprisonment, and interference with 911.
Night Shift December 15: D Squad
25-012924- 4816 Maryland Drive- Suspicious – The RP reported that unknown parties knocked on his door. Parties were gone when police arrived.
