Day Shift December 18 : A Squad

25-013001 – 3700 BLK Ringgold Road – Burglary – Police spoke with the business owner who reported that a 55-inch Sceptre television and an Amazon Fire Stick were stolen the previous night by an unknown male. Surveillance footage shows the suspect entering the gym through an open rear door at approximately 2312 hours, exiting briefly, and then re-entering at approximately 2316 hours. The suspect was observed walking through several rooms before forcibly removing the television from the wall near the main entrance and leaving the building.

Night Shift December 18: C Squad

25-013017 – 900 BLK Donaldson Road – Residential Fire – Police responded to this location for reports of a small kitchen fire. When East Ridge police and East Ridge firefighters arrived on scene, the stove, hood, and cabinets were engulfed in flames. Police evacuated the residents of the building and provided traffic control while the Fire Department extinguished the fire.

25-013026 – 5300 BLK Oakdale Avenue – Mentally Disturbed – Police responded to this location for a mental health consumer actively having an aggressive episode inside of the group home. Police arrived on scene and contacted EMS for a mental health evaluation and medical assistance for the patient. Police stood by while EMS transported the patient.

25-013032- 4000 BLK Bennett Road– Residential Fire – The East Ridge Fire Department and East Ridge Police Department responded to this location for an apartment fire. Police evacuated the apartment building and assisted with traffic control operations while the Fire Department extinguished the fire.

25-013033 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Disorder – Police responded to this location following reports of an unknown male panhandling and making inappropriate remarks to female staff. Officers searched the area and did not locate the suspect.

25-013034 – 302 Dunlap Avenue – Unknown Trouble – Police were dispatched to unknown screaming heard around the apartment complex. Officers searched the area and did not observe anything out of the ordinary.

25-013035 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Police were contacted by Hamilton County Jail staff about a wanted party being brought in on separate charges. He had a Forfeiture Capias warrant out of East Ridge on the original charge of Driving on Revoked for DUI.

25-013042 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Citizen Assist – Police were contacted by a citizen that was having difficulty starting her vehicle. She requested police assist her in jumpstarting her SUV. Officers attempted multiple times to get the vehicle to start, but none were successful. She had two sleeping children in the vehicle with her. She requested police to check on her and her children throughout the night while she finds a place to stay.

25-013045 – 3700 BLK Ringgold Road- Commercial Fire – Police were dispatched to a report of a fire at the front of this location. Officers began extinguishing the fire but after the deployment of a fire extinguisher, the flames reignited. The East Ridge Fire Department arrived on scene and extinguished the fire. This incident is currently under investigation by the East Ridge Fire Department.

25-013046 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road- Property Damage / Theft – While police were investigating a commercial fire across the street, it was determined that the suspect had broken into an outdoor refrigerator, stolen multiple beverages and wood bundles, then left the scene. This incident is currently under investigation by the East Ridge Fire Department.
