Day Shift December 30 : B Squad

25-013380- 6700 BLK Ringgold Road- Arrest – Following a traffic stop, a man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant out of Hamilton County Sessions Court for driving on a revoke license. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.

25-013389- 6000 BLK Wentworth Ave.- Assist Other Agency – Soddy Daisy Police Department CID contacted the East Ridge Police Department regarding a theft that occurred in their jurisdiction. ERPD contacted the suspect who admitted to possessing the stolen wallet and money. The property was placed into East Ridge Police Department property for safekeeping. Currently, Soddy Daisy Police Department has not issued charges against the subject.

Night Shift December 30: D Squad

25-013394 – 6100 BLK Ringgold Rd – Traffic Stop / Arrest – ERPD received an LPR hit on Spring Creek Rd for a stolen red Mustang. The red Mustang could be observed being towed by a red pick-up truck. ERPD conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, and the driver was identified. Dispatch confirmed that the Mustang was stolen, and an individual was placed into custody. The subject was transported to the Hamilton County Jail, and the mustang was put into the ERPD impound lot.

25-013400 – 500 BLK Wando Drive – Supplement – A resident reported seeing a suspicious vehicle possibly responsible for burglarizing his work van two nights ago, describing the suspect vehicle as a champagne-colored Chevy Suburban with an unknown license plate. Police provided a supplemental report and agreed to provide additional patrols of the area.

25-013401-Ringgold Road at S Sanctuary Road- Back up Other Agency – Catoosa County requested East Ridge Police to respond to assist with a traffic stop after the driver stopped on the state line. ERPD arrived on the scene and found both the driver and passenger detained. Catoosa County advised that they had probable cause to search the vehicle and were conducting a search. It was found that the passenger and driver had lied to the deputies about their names. ERPD officer discovered the identity of the driver and passenger and found the passenger had an active warrant out of East Ridge for an Alias Capius (Driving on Revoked DL) and two active warrants out of Hamilton County Sessions Court. Due to the vehicle stopping on the Tennessee side of the state line, both the driver and passenger were transported to Hamilton County Jail for a hold to be placed on them for narcotics and a firearm found in the vehicle.
