Law and Order Feb. 6

Day Shift February 5 : B Squad

26-001126- 3500 BLK Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop/ Arrest – Following a traffic stop yielding 1.4 ounces of methamphetamine and 8.2 grams of fentanyl, a man was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Fentanyl with Intent to Distribute, and Criminal Impersonation. His female companion was also charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Fentanyl with Intent to Distribute.

No Number- 4200 BLK Ringgold Road- Disorder – Police were called to a disorder complaint at the gas station. Upon arrival, police spoke with witnesses who advised that the parties involved in the disorder had already departed the scene. The disorder was only verbal in nature.

Night Shift February 5 : D Squad

26-001136 – 5300 BLK Oakdale Ave – Assault in Progress – A man called 911 to report that someone had hit him in the face with a guitar. ERPD arrived and contacted the suspect. The victim stated the suspect had meetings with other group homes and didn’t like them. The RP went on to say the man became upset and started slamming the guitar inside the house before striking him on the right side of the face. The victim, presenting with injuries, stated he wished to press charges for simple assault. The suspect was informed he was under arrest for simple assault and transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.

26-001140 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Assault – A party requested a phone call from the police regarding an assault. He told the reporting officer that he was struck in the head by a family acquaintance at an undisclosed hotel in East Ridge. Police advised the man that an investigation of assault will be conducted if he could provide his location. He refused to provide his location and ended the phone call after saying he would call back if he needed police to respond. Due to a lack of information, ERPD was unable to investigate the allegations of assault.

26-001141 – 3600 Ringgold Road – Fraud – An employee stated that a customer attempted to load a prepaid card with possibly fraudulent cash. The employee handed the money back to the customer, and they left with no issue. The customer left in a white SUV, unknown make and model, heading eastbound on Ringgold Road.
