Day Shift June 17

25-006386- 5700 BLK Ringgold Road- SIA/Arrest – Police stopped a man due to his erratic behavior. He was found to be in possession of a used needle and 3.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine. The suspect was transported to the Hamilton County Jail and charged with public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of methamphetamine.

25-006404- S Moore Road at Oakdale Ave- Traffic stop/ FI – Police stopped a Black Dodge Challenger that had previously fled from multiple law enforcement agencies. and conducted a field interview on the driver. The current driver was identified. He stated that he was not in possession of the Challenger at the time of the original evasion.

Night Shift June 17

25-006409 – 5000 BLK S Terrace – Citizen Assist – During routine patrol a citizen was observed breaking into his own car. Police verified he was the registered owner.

25-006410 – 4200 BLK Bennett Road – Animal Call – A concerned citizen reported a kitten trapped in a drainage pipe. Police assisted in removing the trapped animal.

25-006420 – 6300 BLK Ringgold Road – Miscellaneous Complaint – A fast-food restaurant closed two hours early for maintenance and a customer decided to become agitated and bang on the window. The customer left the scene before the police could trespass him at the behest of management.

He was among reporters who were honored by the Associated Press for the TFP's coverage of the 2002 fog-shrouded crash on I-75 in Catoosa County, Dick and his wife, Cathy, live on Marlboro Avenue where they are seen frequently chasing around their three grandsons.
