Night Shift June 18

25-006454 – 500 BLK South Germantown Road – Suspicious Activity – Police located a gray Ford F250 in the roadway and found it had run out of gas. Police spoke with the vehicle occupant who stated the driver of the truck went to get more gas. She only knew the driver as “Steve” and claimed not to know his last name. A check of the registration revealed that neither she nor “Steve” were the owners of the truck. The vehicle was towed, and the woman was given a courtesy ride to a store on Brainerd Road.

25-006456 – 1204 Connelly Lane – Assist Other Agency – The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) responded to a hit and run crash on South Crest Road. A gray Dodge Avenger hit another vehicle, then fled south on John Ross Road. East Ridge Police found the vehicle unoccupied on Connelly Lane and attempted to locate the owner. Near 5200 State Line Road, police observed a female walking into Georgia wearing no shoes and appearing out of breath. Officers attempted to speak with her, and she spontaneously identified herself as the driver of the hit and run vehicle. Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the location and arrested her for Public Intoxication. The subject’s information and the Avenger’s vehicle data were sent to the CPD Investigator. Warrants through CPD are currently pending.
