Day Shift March 20: A Squad
26-002501 – John Ross/Ringgold Rd. – Unconscious Person – Police were dispatched to the intersection of John Ross and Ringgold Road for an unconscious male in his vehicle. On arrival the man was semi-conscious. Patrol observed him attempting to hide a crumbled piece of burnt tin foil. Police detained the party and found he had a warrant out of Catoosa County for Aggravated Assault. Officers found drug paraphernalia and Gabapentin in the vehicle. The man complained of chest pain, likely due to narcotics activity and was transported to the hospital. Hospital staff advised he would likely be admitted for a few hours. Police left him at the hospital but were informed 20 minutes later he had absconded. Warrants for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Schedule 5 have been obtained.
26-002510 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road- Unconscious Person – Officers were dispatched after a male collapsed in line and fell unconscious. While in route, police were advised he had become alert but unable to talk. The male was evaluated by EMS but refused to go to the hospital. Out of an abundance of caution, he agreed to sit in the food court and watch the weather channel until he felt well enough to drive.
Night Shift March 20 : C Squad
26-002512 – 2100 BLK Dugan Street – Vehicle Fire – Police and Fire Department units responded to the report of a truck fire at this address. Upon arrival, Officers located a fully engulfed Chevrolet Silverado. The owner of the vehicle stated he heard a loud pop and then observed flames coming from the truck. Firefighters extinguished the flames and no injuries were reported.
26-002513 – I-24 Westbound, MM 183 – Vehicle Fire – Police and Fire Department units responded to the report of a vehicle fire on Interstate 24. Responders located a maroon Nissan Sentra with flames coming from it. Firefighters extinguished the flames and no injuries were reported.
26-002519 – 700 BLK South Germantown Road – Traffic Stop / Assist Other Agency – Police conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle that no visible registration tag. Upon further investigation, officers found that the driver had a revoked driver’s license along with two arrest warrants through the Hamilton County Sessions Court. The charges on the warrants were Failure to Appear and Driving on a Revoked License. Additionally, Police located a small bag that contained suspected methamphetamine residue. The party was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
26-002521 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Assist Other Agency – The East Ridge Police Department assisted the Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) with an investigation involving a mentally disturbed adult female. CPD Officers were working to determine if her psychosis was medical or drug related due to past encounters with the female. East Ridge officers interviewed the female’s father and the hospital staff that treated her. Officers found that the female had drug paraphernalia in her possession during the most recent psychotic event. At the same time, police and the medical staff could not conclusively tie the paraphernalia to the mental health issues that were displayed on that day. The information was provided to the CPD case officer.

Night Shift March 21 : C Squad
26-002559 – 20 BLK South Germantown Road (Chattanooga) – Person Shot / Assist Other Agency – East Ridge Police Officers responded to this location to assist the Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) with multiple shooting victims. Upon arrival, Police located three individuals with serious injuries. East Ridge Police initiated CPR on one victim and conducted other life saving measures for the second victim. Chattanooga Police Officers provided care for the third victim and established crowd control. EMS arrived on scene and took over medical care. East Ridge Police remained in scene to assist CPD units until additional units arrived.
26-002540 – 1000 BLK McBrien Road – Assist Other Agency – Chattanooga Police officers requested assistance in locating a domestic assault suspect from North Hickory Street in Chattanooga. The suspect was identified as a resident of East Ridge. Based on the request, East Ridge police went to the home and located him on the front porch. The man was detained until a Chattanooga police responded to the scene and placed him into custody.
26-002543 – 1600 BLK Adair Street – Suspicious Person / Arrest – Police received several reports of a male screaming and punching the ground. Police eventually located the suspicious male and identified him. Officers were able to successfully deescalate his tantrum, but eventually found he had an extraditable warrant through Catoosa County, GA. The man was taken into custody and a search incident to arrest yielded 1.4 grams of suspected Fentanyl, foil with heavy narcotics residue, and a plastic straw with suspected residue. The subject was charged with Possession of Fentanyl and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was then transported to Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
26-002546 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrest for Other Agency – Police officers conducted a traffic stop with a black Mercedes sedan for failure to stop at a red light. The driver was found to have a valid warrant for Theft of Property out of the Hamilton County Sessions Court. He was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
26-002549 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a woman was served with an Alias Capias warrant through the City of East Ridge. The original charge on the arrest warrant was Driving on a Revoked License.
26-002551 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Police officers conducted a traffic stop with a Dodge sedan due to a registration violation. Police observed a strong odor of marijuana in the vehicle, and a probable cause search was conducted. In the vehicle, Police located three different small baggies containing various amounts of marijuana. The driver was given a citation in lieu of arrest for Possession of an Illegal Substance.
26-002555 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – While in Custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a woman was served with a Petition to Revoke for Probationer warrant through the City of East Ridge. The original charge for the arrest warrant was Driving Under the Influence.
26-002562 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/Protective Custody Arrest – Police Officers conducted a traffic stop with a black Chevy Trailblazer after observing suspicious driving behavior and a light law violation. The officer identified the driver and quickly determined he was suffering from a mental health episode. In addition to abnormal behavior, he stated he had homicidal ideations about State of Georgia Government Officials. The man was taken into protective custody and transported to a local hospital for a mental health evaluation.
26-002566 – 900 BLK Sunny Dell Circle – Motor Vehicle Crash / Arrest – Police Officers responded to the report of a two-vehicle crash at this location. On scene, Police found that a blue Toyota Rav4 had struck an unoccupied vehicle. The driver was identified and determined to be highly intoxicated. Police also determined that the driver was responsible for several damages that occurred on San Hsi Drive, reference EPRD 26-002565. He was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and transported to Hamilton County Jail.
Day Shift March 22: A Squad
26-002567 – 5300 BLK Spriggs Street – Disorder – A man called in to report that his ex-girlfriend had thrown a waffle maker into the windshield of his vehicle. He stated the female had run back into his home and locked him out. He further stated that she had gone live on Instagram and displayed his rifle. Simultaneously, a group of her friends arrived on scene with the suspect on the phone, and police were able to convince her to surrender. The female was taken into custody without incident and taken to Hamilton County Jail.
26-002577-1400 BLK Boyd Street- Back up Fire – Officers responded to a residential fire after a concerned neighbor called in reporting his neighbor’s porch was on fire. Officers arrived and entered the home to clear it of any occupants. Patrol rescued three small dogs and fire responded and extinguished the fire.
Night Shift March 22 : C Squad
26-002582 – 5400 BLK Oakdale Avenue – Residential Fire – Police and Fire Department units responded to a residential fire. Upon arrival, Police evacuated all occupants from the residence and turned the scene over to the Fire Department. ERPD then provided traffic control until all Fire Department vehicles were in position.
26-002591 – 400 BLK Scruggs Road – Assist Other Agency / Arrest – East Ridge Police responded to a request for assistance from the Catoosa County Sherrif’s Office. Two deputies observed a car speeding in Georgia, but the vehicle did not come to a complete stop until it entered Tennessee. Law Enforcement Officers identified the vehicle driver and found he was intoxicated. Police also discovered that he was in possession of marijuana and associated paraphernalia. The party was taken into custody, charged with Driving Under the Influence, and transported to Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
26-002597 – 6000 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrest – ERPD officers observed a gold sedan traveling on Ringgold Road with an expired registration tag. A traffic stop was conducted and police found probable cause for a vehicle search. Several items of drug paraphernalia were in the vehicle and a search incident to arrest yielded suspected methamphetamine on a female passenger. The driver of the vehicle was given a misdemeanor citation in lieu of arrest for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The passenger was taken into custody for Possession of Methamphetamine; however, she was released at the hospital due to an extensive medical issue. Arrest warrants are being sought.
Day Shift March 23: B Squad
26-002614 – 1517 Tombras Ave – Warrant Service – Police found a man who had several East Ridge Warrants for Evading Arrest, driving on a suspended license, Forfeiture Capias for Aggravated Assault, Interfering with 911 calls, and False Imprisonment. The man was transported to Hamilton County Jail.
Night Shift March 23 : D Squad
26-002630 – 3800 BLK Kingwood Circle – Overdose – Police were called about an unconscious male party in the kitchen. The man was overdosing on an unknown narcotic. After police administered Narcan, he came around but refused medical treatment. A search of his person yielded drug paraphernalia. The subject is currently on Federal Probation; his Federal Probation Officer was contacted about the Overdose.
