Day Shift August 29: B Squad
25-009176- 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Vehicle Fire – Police and the East Ridge Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire. The fire was contained to the engine compartment and was safely extinguished by the fire department.
25-009177 – 4214 Ringgold Rd – Warrant Service – ERPD was notified that a man was in custody at Hamilton County Jail. He had an active warrant through ERPD for Theft of Property under $1,000 (Worthless Check).
25-009187 – 1400 BLK Mack Smith Road – Motor Vehicle Collision/D.U.I. – A woman was arrested for DUI after being involved in a motor vehicle collision at this location.
Night Shift August 29: D Squad
25-009205 – Hilldale Drive @ Brookwood Drive – SIA/Suspicious Activity/Field Interview – While conducting a routine patrol in Ridgeside, an officer observed a suspicious individual walking in the middle of the roadway. While speaking with the man, the officer observed that he was carrying a kitchen knife in his front pocket. When asked what he was doing, he stated he was looking for flowers and was building his daughter’s chakra. Additionally, he stated his knife was once a sword but was broken into two knives in Neverland. When asked for his identification, he provided his Georgia Department of Corrections ID card. The man was checked for warrants and found to have a non-extraditable warrant out of Florida for trespassing. He decided to move along after speaking with officers. A field interview was completed to document the encounter.
Day Shift August 30: B Squad
25-009213-6700 BLK Ringgold Road-Suspicious Person/Arrest – A woman was taken into custody on an outstanding East Ridge Warrant for theft of property, after the store manager called in and reported she had returned to the business. She was transported to jail without issue.
25-009220- 400 BLK South Moore Road- LPR Hit – Police received an LPR hit on a stolen plate out of Arkansas. Officers were able to apprehend the suspect in a parking lot after a short attempt to evade through the property. The suspect was found to have a firearm with the serial number filed off, 14.5 Grams of marijuana, a scale, and a large quantity of cash. The suspect was also found to be a convicted felon out of Texarkana. The female suspect was arrested for Possession of Stolen Property, Financial Responsibility, Improper Display of Vehicle Registration, Reckless Driving, Driving Unregistered Vehicle, Driving with no License, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission or Attempt to Commit a Dangerous Felony, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Altered Firearm Serial Number (Felony), Unlawful Carrying or Possession of a Firearm (convicted felon), Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Resale, and Evading Arrest. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-009224/24-014682 – 4214 Ringgold Rd – Warrant Service – ERPD was notified that a party was in custody at the Hamilton County Jail. The subject had active warrants through ERPD for Forfeiture Capias (Felon in possession of a firearm), Possession of meth for resale, Possession of schedule I, Possession of marijuana for resale, Fentanyl for resale, public intoxication, Possession of drug paraphernalia, Possession of firearm under the influence, and Possession of firearm during felony. All warrants were served at the Hamilton County Jail.
Night Shift August 30: D Squad
25-009229-5300 BLK Marion Ave-Domestic Disorder- A caller reported hearing a male at this address screaming and shouting. Officers spoke with the subject, who was extremely intoxicated and argumentative with the police. As the police were attempting to leave the scene, the man stood in his yard yelling profanities at the police and walking into the roadway. On scene officers asked him several times to return to his residence and not to go back into the street. He disregarded police commands and was taken into custody for Public Intoxication.
25-009234 – 10 BLK Crescent Park – Assist Other Agency – Officers responded to the above address at the request of the Soddy Daisy Police Department to attempt to locate a man and his two stepsons. Officers located the party and the two juveniles at the residence. Officers took the subject into custody at the request of Soddy Daisy PD on the charge of kidnapping. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail, where he was turned over to SDPD.
25-009243- South Moore Rd/Ringgold Rd.-BOLO/Arrest – Police received a bolo for a driver that was seen asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle and then awoke and continued to drive. An officer located the vehicle and the driver, but the driver was not in the vehicle but sitting on the sidewalk. A brief investigation revealed that the driver was extremely intoxicated and was taken into custody for Public Intoxication.
Day Shift August 31: B Squad
25-009248- 1500 BLK Karwill Lane- Traumatic Injury – Police responded to this location for a bicycle crash in which the handlebars penetrated approximately three inches into the male victim’s leg. Officers observed a wound to the inner thigh with bleeding controlled by pressure. Fire and EMS arrived on scene, assumed care, and transported the victim for treatment.
Night Shift August 31: D Squad
25-009252-San His/Spring Creek-MVC/DUI Arrest – The reporting party called to inform the police that he had been involved in a crash, and the other party fled the scene on foot. Police were able to locate a suspect who matched the description provided by the reporting party. Initially, the suspect denied being involved in a crash. However, after further investigation, the police discovered that he had been drinking earlier in the evening at another call for service, and he admitted that he was not in a condition to drive at that time. The vehicle left at the scene was registered to him, and his driver’s license was found inside the car. He was subsequently taken into custody for driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.
25-009265 – 5300 BLK Clemons Road – Suspicious Person – A party was arrested for Public Intoxication, Criminal Trespass, and Resisting Stop, Halt, Frisk after attempting to evade police through the woods following an incident involving doorbell ring camera surveillance. The footage showed him disturbing multiple residents by banging on multiple front doors, shouting, demanding residents to open their doors, and attempting to open one party’s front door.
Day Shift September 1: A Squad
25-009270 – 500 BLK Sharondale Road – Open Door – Police responded to an open front door to a vacant house currently being renovated. No unauthorized persons or activity were observed. Police locked and secured the front door prior to leaving the property.
Night Shift September 1: C Squad
25-009283 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Assist Other Agency – While investigating a separate incident, Police Officers found that a woman had two active arrest warrants through Catoosa County, Georgia. She was then taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-009286 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Suspicious Activity / Arrest – Police observed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the hospital. Officers found it was occupied by a man and woman. Police found that one had a warrant through Soddy Daisy. While taking her into custody, Police Officers observed paraphernalia in her back pocket. A search incident to arrest and a probable cause search of the vehicle yielded eight grams of methamphetamine and numerous articles of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to Hamilton County Jail and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
