Municipal Court Docket for July 2

Due to the Independence Day holiday, East Ridge Municipal Court will be held on Monday, July 2. Municipal court is held at City Hall on Tombras Avenue and begins at 3 p.m. Municipal court will resume its normal meeting schedule on July 10. The following people who are currently in police custody are scheduled to appear.

Antonio Collier – Revoked DL/Alias Capias, No Insurance, Light Law.

Thomas Dobbs – Simple Possession Schedule VI, Manufacture, Deliver, Sale Meth, Tampering with Evidence.

Brett King – Theft under $1,000/For Capias, Evading Arrest/For Capias, Unlawful Possession of Weapon/For Capias.

Robert Locklear – Theft of Property/For Capias.

Anthony Mullis – Resisting Arrest, Tampering with Evidence.

George Ortmeier – Identity Theft (2), Fraud Use of Debit Card (2).

Marquell Smith – Resisting Arrest.

Randall Smith – Criminal Simulation (3).

Marcus Thomas – Domestic Assault/PTR.

Jonathan Tinker – Public Intoxication.

Kaitlyn Ballard – Drug Paraphernalia/PTR.

Tara Ellis – Theft over $2,500.

Jennifer Haworth – Identity Theft (6).

Sarah Lemaster – Prescription Drug Fraud.

Brittney Lopopolo – Resisting, Criminal Impersonation.

Victoria Meyners – Criminal Impersonation, Identity Theft, Driving on Revoked, Due Care, No Insurance, Registration Violation.

Kaitlyn Ritchey – Drug Paraphernalia/Alias Capias.

Cassie Rutherford – Public Intoxication.

Skyla Tinker – Domestic Assault, Drug Paraphernalia.

Rebecca Ward – Possession Controlled Substance/PTR.

Dick Cook has lived in East Ridge since the Kennedy Administration when his parents bought a house on Marietta Street. Dick graduated from ERHS in 1976 before going on to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he studied Political Science. Dick worked for the Chattanooga Free-Press and the Chattanooga Times Free Press for 22 years. Free-Press Sports Editor Roy Exum plucked him out of production in 1989 and gave him a job as a sports reporter. Dick covered everything from prep sports to the whitewater events on the Ocoee River for the 1996 Olympics. When Chattanooga's two paper's merged, he became the Crime Reporter covering both the Chattanooga Police and Fire Departments. He was among reporters who were honored by the Associated Press for the TFP's coverage of the 2002 fog-shrouded crash on I-75 in Catoosa County, Dick and his wife, Cathy, live on Marlboro Avenue where they are seen frequently chasing around their three grandsons.
