May 9, 2016 By Dick Cook and Contributed Article 0 Comments

The East Ridge Optimist Club will me holding its regularly scheduled business meeting tomorrow night Tuesday at 6:30 pm at the East Ridge Community Center.
Our special guest speaker will be Mr. Jarron Ritchie, General Manager for the new East Ridge Bass Pro store. Please, join us in welcoming Mr. Ritchie to our community. This meeting should be very informative to everybody’s questions about this exciting development for East Ridge.

Also, we will be finalizing our plans for our Optimist Club Barbecue being held this coming Saturday, May 14th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the new pavilion across from the arena at Camp Jordan. If you haven’t purchased your ticket yet, please do so. All proceeds go directly toward our community projects for youth and community wellbeing.

We are always looking for people that want to be part of a great organization. Working together we can make a positive difference in our community and it’s youth.
