Pet of the Week

February 27, 2019 By Dick Cook 0 Comments

East Ridge Animal Services is looking for a permanent home for one of its rescue dogs that has been living at the shelter for a long, long time.

According to Animal Services Supervisor Crystal Reno, Diamond has been at the shelter since October 27, 2018. Way to long!! Diamond is about three years old and weighs 27 pounds. She is a spayed female that’s up to date on all vaccinations, and heart worm negative!

Reno said that during last week’s rain staff cleared the shelter due to potential flooding. Diamond’s foster mom said she was the best house guest!!

Diamond enjoys playing outside with balls and ropes, and is housebroken! She gets along great with other dogs and children too, Reno said.

If you’re looking for a wonderful dog that enjoys the outdoors, then come meet this little lady at East Ridge Animal Shelter. You won’t be disappointed!
