Tennessee Rebel BBQ to Bring a Different Spin on BBQ at The First Annual East Ridge Fall Festival

October 20, 2022 By Contributed Article 0 Comments

Lets face it, us Tennesseans are as proud of our BBQ as we are of our football team. (GO VOLS!) Here in the south BBQ is serious business. Our journey to the best BBQ all started with a small smoker and a desire to create the best Tennessee BBQ in the Southeast.

What makes us different is the fact that we take our time and we include time-honored family traditions and recipes into our practice.  All of our meats are smoked until they are ready. We are firm believers in the fact that you cannot rush great BBQ. So if our pulled pork needs to smoke 16 hours it gets it! We also believe that food is a community not just a meal, therefore each and every recipe is prepared with that in mind. There’s nothing better than having a table full of happy guests at the end of a meal. That is our goal every time you “sit” at our table.

We are proud to be a food vendor at the First Annual East Ridge Fall Festival this coming Saturday (10/22/22). We will have our full taco menu available, Brunswick stew, and our famous nanner’ pudding. We hope to see you there and please come with an empty stomach!

We hope you’ll pull up a chair and chow down with us. We promise not to let you leave on an empty stomach. And we promise that you’ll want to come back for more!

Tennessee Rebel BBQ has always been pushing the envelope when it comes to how we enjoy our BBQ. When one thinks of BBQ you might think a sandwich, a pulled pork plate, a BBQ stuffed potato; yes, we can do all of those things and do them proudly, but what we truly specialize in is far beyond the ordinary. We love to serve our BBQ taco menu alongside Mexican street corn or better known as “elote.”

While we do not have a brick and mortar establishment yet, we primarily focus on community events and private catering. This business was founded in the middle of the pandemic to find a different avenue to make sure everyone could enjoy delicious BBQ, a true comfort food of literally any American. It wasn’t an easy feat, and frankly the business model is far from traditional, but we have been fortunate enough to feed thousands of people with a BBQ craving and they keep coming back.
