Two Indicted for Rape

The Hamilton County Grand Jury has indicted two men for the rape and kidnapping of a woman that allegedly happened in East Ridge. According to our friends at NewsChannel9, the indictment against Iver Diaz Cruz was handed down February 3.

According to the offense report, the victim went on a date with the suspect in late December. The suspect took her to the 4A’s Motel on Ringgold Road where he and another man raped her. The suspect then dropped her off down the road from her house the next day.

Diaz Cruz was arrested on Friday. His bond has been set at $300,000. The second suspect has not been arrested and his bond will also be set at $300,000.
