April 27 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

April 22 – Day Shift

 6700 Ringgold Road (warrant service):

Dayna Melton was arrested on an active East Ridge warrant following a traffic stop at this location. (22-005611)

1509 Tombras Avenue (underage consumption/evading):

While patrolling the park for unattended juveniles, police observed the older female juvenile from 5400 block Marion Avenue, sitting on a piece of playground equipment with another known female subject. As police approached, both parties stood up and quickly walked away from police. In the place where the juvenile was sitting were two partially-consumed Four Loco alcoholic beverages. Police eventually made contact with the parties and found the juvenile to be in possession of a cup containing the alcoholic beverage. As police began to escort the juvenile back to their patrol vehicle, she ran off down Esterbrook Drive. Juvenile petitions will be sought for underage consumption and evading. (22-005612)

April 22 – Night Shift

800 Donaldson Road Warrant Service 22-005633

JaWaughn White was arrested on outstanding Hamilton County warrants

1410 Mack Smith Road (Arrest 22-005628):

Police were dispatched to the Budgetel regarding a disorder with a weapon. While in route, dispatch informed officers the parties involved were fighting. Upon arrival, police spoke with the two victims, Jason G. and Dylan H. It was determined a man urinated over the balcony and some urine splattered on to Jason. Security Guard Hardwick responded, and an unidentified man pulled a knife on Dylan and Jason. Security was able to get the knife away from the suspect. The man (John Doe) was taken into custody for two counts of Aggravated Assault, Public Intoxication, and Disorderly conduct.

730 Germantown Circle (Auto Theft 22-005638):

The complainant called police in regard to his vehicle being stolen outside his apartment. The complainant told police he met an unknown female at his brother’s residence on Robin Street in Chattanooga. Both parties went back to the complainant’s residence where they began drinking alcoholic beverages. The complainant gave the female his keys to retrieve his phone from his vehicle. The complainant then stated he noticed the female had left the area with his vehicle and phone. The stolen vehicle is a 2013 green Kia Soul. The vehicle was entered into NCIC as stolen and a BOLO was put out.

10 Interstate 75 NB (Backup Other Agency 22-005635):

ERPD officers were driving on I-75 SB and attempting to turn around onto I-75 NB at the Fort Oglethorpe exit when police observed a tractor trailer drive through a guard rail down an embankment and flip over the cinderblock guard wall down a hill. ERPD advised dispatch to notify Catoosa County and Georgia State Patrol of the accident with entrapment. ERPD units attempted to make contact with the truck driver but were unsuccessful. ERPD units stayed on scene until Catoosa County and GSP units arrived.

500 Wando Dr. (Possession of Meth for Resale – (22-005631)

Stacy Eller was arrested following a traffic stop at this location. Police located approximately 8.5 grams of suspected Methamphetamine and various items consistent with drug paraphernalia.

5301 Ringgold Road (Arrest 22-005624):

Police were called to Walgreen’s in reference to an intoxicated male. Justus Edwards was subsequently taken into custody for Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest.

4214 Ringgold Road  (Warrant Service 22-005632):

Jesse Phillips was served with an outstanding East Ridge Warrant for Alias Capias – Driving On Revoked after being stopped by CPD.

 April 23 – Day Shift

 4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):

Kristopher Brown was arrested at Silverdale for an active East Ridge warrant. (22-005661)

Spring Creek Road (welfare check):

Police were alerted to an elderly man walking down the road who appeared to be in need of assistance. Police made contact with the man, who resides at the East Ridge Residence Facility. He had walked to a friend’s house off Spring Creek Road and was returning home. ERPD transported him back to his residence. (22-005655)

I-75 South off ramp (assist EMS): A caller passed a subject who appeared to be bleeding walking up the ramp toward Ringgold Road. Police located a man who had a deep laceration to his wrist and forearm. The man, a transient, was treated by EMS personnel, but he refused transport for further medical help. (22-005656)

5816 Ringgold Road (auto theft):

U-Haul management reported the theft of a 20 foot box truck sometime after 7:30 PM last night. No suspect information is available. The truck has been entered NCIC. (22-005657)

4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):

Anthony Lees was arrested at Silverdale for an active East Ridge warrant. (22-005651)

April 23 – Night Shift

6514 Ringgold Rd ( Arrest 22-005685):

Following a traffic stop, police arrested Jay’waan Conner for being in possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm unlawfully, and simple possession. Police also issued Conner’s girlfriend a misdemeanor citation for simple possession.

3728 Ringgold Road (Traffic Stop/Arrest 22-005683):

Lakisha Baker was arrested at this location following a traffic stop after being found to be driving on revoked for DUI.

4300 Ringgold Road (Traffic Stop/Arrest 22-005677):

Jillayne Mcguire was taken into custody at this location for an outstanding warrant through Collegedale during a traffic stop at this location. Deonta McClain was also taken into custody for an outstanding warrant through Sessions during this stop.
