Aug. 19 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

Aug. 17 Day Shift

21-011802- 3102 Mason Drive- Auto Theft-

The complainant called to report his vehicle as stolen. He advised sometime between midnight and 03:00 hours on 8-17 an unknown suspect took his 2014 Toyota Sienna. He advised that he accidentally left the keys in the vehicle overnight. The van was described as having a cracked windshield on the passenger side, scratches on the rear driver side, a roof rack, and two car seats in the car. Vehicle entered in NCIC.

21-011803- 700 block of Belvoir Avenue-

Crash with Entrapment- Police responded with Fire and EMS on a single vehicle crash with entrapment. Fire was able to free the driver. EMS transported him to Parkridge East. The car was towed by East Ridge Auto.

21-011805- 503 South Germantown Road (Bookout Clinic)- Alarm-

Police responded to check the business. The alarm was found to be accidental.

21-011807- 3500 blk of Cathy Lane- Mental Health Consumer-

Dispatch advised they received a phase two 911 call from “Corey” at this location. He advised he felt someone was trying to kill him then disconnected. Police checked the area, but “Corey” was not located.

21-011809- 3218 Gleason Drive  (Ridgeview Point)- Unknown Trouble-

The caller requested a police response due to unknown people hiding in his apartment. Police arrived and spoke with the caller. No one was hiding in the apartment. It was also determined he was the caller from the previous call on Cathy Lane.

21-011810- 6725 Ringgold Road (Chattanooga Mercantile)- Disorder-

The caller advised a female with no shoes was in front of the business harassing customers. Once on scene police located Sara P. in the lot. She was checked for warrants and advised to leave the property.

 Night Shift

639 Camp Jordan Parkway / Arrest: 

Chandler Dicken was taken into custody for public intoxication after police discovered him passed out in his vehicle outside of Jonathan’s. Police were initially called to this location for an unconscious party.  21-011832

4214 Ringgold Road / Arrest-Warrant: 

Quinton Lamar Carter was arrested on Forfeiture Capias warrants for Simple Possession, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting Arrest

4320 Bennett Road / Burglar Alarm: 

Police responded to an alarm.  Through the use of cameras, Blake Michael Lewis was arrested for Burglary, Possession of Meth, and Public Intoxication.

4221 Spriggs Street / Fire-Residential: 

Fire and Police responded to a house fire.  The residents were moved from the house.  Fire Department is monitoring the structure for re-start.

5080 S Terrace / Vandalism (21-011819):

Complainant called police to report that an older man with white hair and white facial hair was observed lying underneath his vehicle in the back parking lot. When the man noticed that he had been seen, he fled the parking lot in a maroon sedan with heavy damage. The complainant found that the man had been attempting to cut the catalytic converter off of the vehicle, but had been unsuccessful. The suspect left a vehicle jack at the scene. It was collected as evidence.
