March 9, 2023 By Dick Cook Leave a Comment

Catholic rallied past Chattanooga Christian, 11-10, Wednesday in middle school baseball.

Cale N went 2-for-2, including a third-inning homer for Catholic, now 2-0 on the season. His at bats accounted for four RBI on the afternoon. Cale also went four innings on the mound, striking out four while allowing eight runs on eight hits.

Cale had some help on offense, as Silas W. had multiple hits as well. The Catholic team’s Henry O. stole three bases, one of three players with multiple steals.

Coach Chase White characterized the comeback as a “huge win” for his squad.

Catholic will attempt to keep its perfect winning record as the squad hosts the Chattanooga Patriots next Thursday at 5 p.m.
