The City of East Ridge is notifying the public of a temporary road closure on John Ross Road at Coleman Circle, scheduled for Wednesday, June 25, to allow for critical roadway improvements. The closure will affect both northbound and southbound traffic throughout the day.

Closure Schedule:

• Date: Wednesday, June 25, 2025

• Time: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Both directions of John Ross Road will be completely closed at Coleman Circle to all thru traffic during work. This closure is necessary to ensure a safe work environment for crews to perform infrastructure upgrades and improvements in the area.

Detour Route:

All traffic will be detoured as follows:

• Detour Path: Coleman Circle ➝ Laredo Avenue ➝ Bennett Road

• Traffic in both directions (northbound and southbound) will follow the same detour route.

Flaggers from Superior Traffic Control will be stationed throughout the detour area to assist with traffic flow, provide directional guidance, and help minimize disruptions for local residents and motorists.
