On Saturday morning at approximately 1:36 a.m., the CPD DUI/Traffic Unit responded to a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Highway 153 Southbound near the Lee Highway on-ramp. Responding officers located the driver, a 27-year-old male, who sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene by Hamilton County EMS. Preliminary investigation indicates the Harley-Davidson motorcycle veered off the roadway onto the right embankment near the 0.8 mile marker. The crash remains under investigation.
