Dec. 17 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

Dec. 15 Day Shift

21-018041- 6515 Ringgold Road- Alarm-

Police responded to check the business. On scene the building appeared to be secure.

21-018046- 3522 Missionaire Avenue- Civil Matter-

Police were dispatched to this address on a burglary in progress. On scene it was found to be a landlord/tenant issue.

21-018049- 6721 Ringgold Road- Counterfeit Money-

The caller reported the use of counterfeit money at the Family Dollar Store. On scene police spoke with the caller who advised on 12-11-21 at 09:50, three unknown males came into the store and purchased $1,500 worth of pre-paid gift cards. She advised she was notified by the bank this date, that the money used during this transaction was counterfeit. She advised she would provide camera footage of the suspects to police later.

21-018050- Heather Street- Child Abuse-

The middle school SRO called in reference to alleged child abuse occurring at an address on Heather Street. He advised a student at the school had disclosed abuse to a school counselor. He stated the child advised the counselor that his parents had threatened to tase him. The SRO provided his incident report number of 21-035663 and a Department of Child Services report number.

21-018058- 806 Harris Lane- Alarm x2-

Police responded two times to this address on burglar alarms. Both times the house appeared to be secure.

21-018059- 1014 John Ross Road- Assault-

Police were dispatched to the 4000 block of Bennett Road to speak with a complainant reporting an assault having occurred at East Ridge Elementary School. On scene police met with a woman who advised her grandson had been assaulted by two other juveniles at the school. She requested the incident be documented by police and was advised to contact the school for further action.

 Night Shift

6700 Ringgold Road / Warrant service:

Alonzo Lestage was arrested on a Hamilton County warrant during a traffic stop. (21-018075)

Ringgold Rd @ Springvale Rd / Arrest-Narcotics: 

Short term traffic was observed leaving the area of Haisten Court.  A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle that was driving in an erratic manner after leaving that area. The occupants of the vehicle were identified as Brian Dickerson and Rachel Labrosse. After an admission to having narcotics in the vehicle, a search yielded approximately 34 oxycodone, Xanax, meth, and various paraphernalia.  Dickerson had messages on his phone indicating distribution and was charged accordingly. Labrosse was found to have active warrants out of sessions. Once at Silverdale additional oxycodone were found on Ms. Labrosse person.  (21-018081)

4214 Ringgold Road / Arrest:

Stephen Culbertson came to the police department to request a phone charger. When officers contacted him he was in front of the building throwing items in the yard (mostly trash) he was also yelling profanities at passing motorist. Culbertson was taken to jail for disorderly conduct.  (21-018068)

5333 Oakdale Ave / Misdemeanor Citation-Narcotics:

Two subjects were seen walking through yards in the area. The subjects in question were identified as Sara Phillips and  Earl S. Phillips was found to have methamphetamine on her person and was charged accordingly. Both parties advised they were just walking through East Ridge to get to their campsite in Chattanooga  (21-018090)

1500 Greens Lake Road / Traffic Stop-Drugs for Resale: 

A traffic stop was conducted in the 1500 Block of Greens Lake Road. The driver continued into Georgia. The driver, Tiffany Handcock, was found to be in possession of approximately 11 grams of methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana. The driver was turned over to Catoosa County without incident where she was charged for possession for resale.  (21-018073)
