Dec. 4 Day Shift
814 South Seminole Drive- Vehicle Burglary/Arrest-
The caller advised of a suspicious white male in her carport. Once on scene officers located a white male wrapped in blankets laying in a trailer. Underneath him were several tote bags with miscellaneous items inside. Upon further investigation the male, now identified as Raymond Gregg, was found to have entered a vehicle on the property. Gregg was arrested and charged. Officers were able to link Gregg to other vehicle burglaries occurring last night.
6117 Nottingham Drive- Alarm-
Police responded and checked the residence. It appeared to be secure.
3734 Ringgold Road (Allied Finance)- Burglary-
Sometime between 2230 hours 12-3 and 0900 hours 12-4 an unknown suspect entered the business through the busted front door and took cash. CID was contacted and responded. Officers on scene attempted to locate surveillance cameras in the area and found two in the Little Caesars (3728 Ringgold) that may have footage of the suspect(s). There were also two items of graffiti placed on the walls around the front window. Gang Coordinator Hackett responded and attempted to identify if the graffiti was gang related.
1221 Marlboro Avenue- Alarm-
Police responded and located an open door. Upon checking, the homeowner was found to have accidentally set off the alarm.
5318 Ringgold Road (Haiku Hibachi)-
Upon arrival police spoke to the complainant. He advised he called an electrician about his parking lot lights not working and found out someone had stolen the copper wiring from the conduit lines. The complainant stated they noticed the lights not working on Monday around 2230 hours but didn’t noticed the wiring missing until this morning around 0930 hours. CID was notified but due to lack of physical evidence, they did not respond. The complainant stated he does not have cameras in the area where the incident occurred. There are no suspects.
706 Dunlap Avenue- Vehicle Burglary-
Upon arrival police spoke with the victim. She advised sometime during the night her unlocked vehicle was entered and items were taken. Earlier in the shift police arrested Raymond Gregg for vehicle burglary. Among the items in his possession was a black, plastic change dispenser that appeared to be the item stolen from this woman’s vehicle. More charges are pending on Gregg.
11 Belvoir Circle- Vehicle Burglary-
While conducting an inventory of the items found next to Raymond Gregg, police discovered in one of the bags, a United States Postal Service identification card, belonging to Rick D. Police requested dispatch perform a record’s check on Rick’s name, to locate his address, which was found to be 11 Belvoir Cir. Upon speaking with him he advised sometime between 11/28/2019 and this date, someone entered his unsecured blue 2003 Dodge Dakota pickup and damaged his center console, as well as, removing his deactivated USPS ID and a pair of sunglasses. Based on the information and evidence police gathered at the South Seminole scene and from Rick’s, it is believed Gregg is the suspect to the burglary of the man’s vehicle. Charges are pending.
961 Spring Creek Road (Doctors Building)-
Suspicious Person- Hospital security called to report a suspicious white male with a ponytail looking into vehicles in the lot. He was gone on police arrival.
4214 Ringgold Road/ Theft:
Police met victim outside of the Headquarters to investigate a theft. The victim reported that she met with a young black male she only knew by his Facebook name “Mayhem South” to purchase a PS4 with two controllers. They met at 707 Dunlap Avenue on 12/3/19 at 19:00. He approached her vehicle with two black backpack. Opened one pack and showed her the PS4 with controllers. She paid him $160 and asked him to put the pack in the backseat. He placed one in the back which she checked when she got home. The one she had contained a broken DVD player, two broken controllers, and an empty game case.
3125-B Old Ringgold Road / Domestic Assault:
Victim approached police at 3219 Old Ringgold Road to report a disorder between her and her boyfriend. He slapped her on the left side of her face twice and pulled her by the hair. When police went to the residence, the suspect had left the scene. Police swore out warrants on Christopher Walker for Domestic Assault and interference with emergency calls.
1500 McBrien Road/Arrest-Traffic:
Evan Andrew Kyze was arrested for Evading Arrest with a bond of $2500 and court date of January 14, 2020.
6501 Ringgold Rd/ Driving on suspended License arrest:
Gerald Watkins was arrested for two Hamilton County warrants and suspended license Comp#19-013346 Jail number #19-1520 Bond amount $1,000
