April 10, 2018 By Dick Cook 0 Comments

The East Ridge boys soccer team continued its winning ways with a 2-1 win over Loudon, Monday at Camp Jordan Park.

It was the ninth win for the Pioneers against no losses and two draws on the season. East Ridge will travel to CSAS Tuesday. Game time is 7 p.m.

Coach Jeremy McIntyre said his defense “really stepped up in the second half,” keeping Loudon off the board. “Loudon is very strong and really gave us a challenge,” he said.

All the scoring for both sides was done in the first half. Adam Adem and Rijad Kazic accounted for the East Ridge scoring. Adem was also credited with an assist.

East Ridge out shot Loudon, 8-7.

Loudon’s lone goal came off the foot of Francisco Aguilera with Ivan Navarrete picking up the assist.
