Feb. 24 Police Briefs

The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department and compiled from its “pass along reports.”

Feb. 22 Day Shift

1231 John Ross Road Apt. A (vandalism):

Complainant reported another window on her vehicle being damaged by a projectile. Upon inspecting the vehicle, police located a large glass marble in the backseat. Complainant stated she does not have any known enemies, and it is believed she may be targeted because her vehicle faces parallel to the roadway. The intact marble was placed into property and evidence. (21-002391)

3657 Ringgold Road Cascades Motel (domestic assault):

Chadrick Weaver reported his girlfriend, Lori Merrill (Davis), had accessed his personal information by “hacking” his cell phone after he let her use it. While speaking with the parties, Merrill claimed that during their argument Weaver struck her in the face with a TV remote control and threw her down to the ground. Weaver was taken into custody for domestic assault. (21-002394)

3444 Ringgold Road (Conditions of Release service/warrant service):

After dropping Chadrick Weaver off at the jail, police observed Lori Merrill (Davis) walking near the parking lot of Ready, Set, Sew. Police had prior knowledge of a capias warrant for Merrill (Davis) that was not found in the system during initial contact with her. Merrill (Davis) was taken into custody for the capias and transported to 601 where she was served with Chadrick Weaver’s conditions of release. (21-002400)

 Night Shift

3827 Altamira (Arrest 21-002422):

Lydia Reid was taken into custody for leaving the scene of an accident and DUI following a crash in the 4200 block of Ringgold Rd.

4222 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-002422):

Ana Williams was taken into custody for driving while suspended, possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. She also had warrants through Red Bank.

6774 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-002431):

Angelica Webb was arrested on an East Ridge warrant during a traffic stop.

4222 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-002432):

David Nicholas Prestridge was taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence during a traffic stop.

900 S Seminole (Arrest 21-002435):

Lajuane Lewis was taken into custody for driving without a license, possession of Xanax, possession of Ecstasy, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony. Officers also seized $215.00 in US currency.

201 Eads St (Suspicious Activity 21-002436):

Police responded to reports of a male party walking through breezeways in the apartment complex turning off lights. Officers did not locate the subject.
