The following information was compiled from “pass along reports” provided by the administration of the East Ridge Police Department.
Feb. 24 Day Shift
21-002492- 1410 Mack Smith Road #3112 (Budgetel)- Disorder-
The caller advised her boyfriend was banging on the door to the room. On arrival police spoke to the couple and found the disorder to be verbal. They both advised everything was ok.
21-002493- 3313 Frawley Street- Auto Theft-
The caller advised his vehicle was warming when an unknown suspect took it. On arrival police spoke with the reporting party who advised her 2013 gray Kia Optima was stolen from her driveway this morning. The victim did not see the suspect and had no leads on who took her vehicle. There were no witnesses or security cameras in the immediate area that would have captured the theft. The vehicle was entered into NCIC. A short time later the vehicle was recovered on 13th Avenue in Chattanooga. It was removed from NCIC.
21-002494- 5700 Roper Street (New Castle Square)- Robbery from Person-
The caller advised he was robbed at gunpoint by an unknown black male in the breezeway of building M. He advised the male forced him into his apartment and took money, shoes, and food. On arrival, the victim described the suspect as approximately 6′ tall, around 160 pounds, wearing a black fleece jacket, gray sweatpants, gray Adidas shoes, light skin, black male, with long black straight hair. The victim did not know a direction of travel but stated the suspect left on foot. Police did not locate anything on scene that required processing at the time.
21-002497- 3657 Ringgold Road #36 (Cascades Motel)- Unknown Trouble-
The caller advised he woke up at the motel next to a female doing drugs and left the room. He advised he now wished to return her phone but was frightened. On arrival police spoke with all parties involved and found the disorder was verbal in nature. The female’s phone was returned. Police on scene did not observe any signs of drug use.
21-002504- 5418 Ringgold Road (Apollo Car Wash)- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised of a female parked in a wash bay acting suspicious. On arrival police spoke with the caller by phone. The suspicious female was not located.
21-000801- 400 Workman Road- Stolen Vehicle Recovery-
CPD recovered a gold Toyota Rav 4 stolen from 5313 Dupont Street on 1-19-21. The vehicle was removed from NCIC.
1100 Altamaha St / Evading (21-002524):
A black motorcycle with Washington 2F0519 plates failed to stop for police on a traffic stop. The driver was a white male wearing a camouflage jacket. Police did not pursue in accordance with policy.
14 Laurel Ln / Residential Fire (21-002519):
Police responded to a residential fire at this location. On arrival police observed there to be flames coming from the rear of the residence. Police evacuated the building and ERFD successfully extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported.
1000 John Ross Rd / Traffic Stop (21-002521):
Jeremiah Romine was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, and Tampering with Evidence during a traffic stop at this location. Codey Warren and Krista Snyder were also arrested during the same traffic stop for Possession of Methamphetamine and Tampering with Evidence.
201 Eads Street / Check Well Being (21-002515):
Police responded and located a female subject outside of building 4 of the Dogwood Place complex. She stated that she was looking for her son and they live in one of the apartments. Police attempted to contact her son multiple times but was unable to do so. The woman seemed disoriented and experienced dizziness when she stood up. Police transported her to Parkridge East for evaluation and contacted APS.
1410 Mack Smith Road/ Assist a Citizen (21-002525):
Police responded to assist a citizen. Earlier in the shift, one of the tenants was taken to the hospital for suicidal ideation. Parkridge East released the patient and she returned to Budgetel. She called 911 a second time wanting police to bring her food. Police warned her not to call 911 again or she will be arrested for misuse of 911 and she stated she understood.
