On Thursday, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office personnel took Robert Corey Ripple into custody in Meigs County after a months-long effort to locate and apprehend him.
Ripple has an extensive criminal history, and warrants for his arrest were first issued in June 2026 for charges of trespassing and theft of property. Ripple repeatedly fled law enforcement, resulting in additional warrants being issued.
Ripple currently faces charges of three counts of Evading Arrest, Theft of Property, two counts of Criminal Trespassing, and Off-Road Motor Vehicle on Highway.
This arrest was the result of extensive investigative work and the combined efforts of the HCSO Criminal Warrants Unit, the HCSO NSI, the HCSO K-9 Unit, and the Meigs County Sheriff’s Office. We want to thank the Meigs County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in this.
