On August Thursday at around 2:15 A.M., Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a routine traffic stop on a vehicle near the 4800 block of Hixson Pike.
During the traffic stop, it was confirmed that the driver had an active warrant out of Red Bank. The individual fled, nearly striking two deputies and initiating a vehicle pursuit.
The suspect continued onto South Moore Road, where an HCSO deputy successfully conducted a PIT maneuver, ending the pursuit. A search of the suspect’s vehicle led to the discovery of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
The driver, Ashley Foster, was taken into custody and faces charges of Felony Evading Arrest, two counts of Reckless Endangerment, Speeding, Possession of Fentanyl, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Resisting Arrest.
