HCSO Arrests Woman for First-Degree Premeditated Murder

On Wednesday, April 29, HCSO Criminal Investigations Unit Detectives took Sharon Wilson into custody following their intensive investigation into a fatal residential fire that happened on January 7, 2026.

It was determined during the investigation that Wilson intentionally set her residence on fire, resulting in the death of her husband, Michael Wilson. Detectives presented the case to a Hamilton County Grand Jury, and an indictment for her arrest was obtained.

Wilson is being held at the Hamilton County Jail & Detention Center on charges of First-Degree Premeditated Murder, Felony Murder, and Aggravated Arson.
