On Friday, at approximately 3:15 p.m., the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Deputy assigned to Brainerd High School observed a juvenile female driving recklessly through the school’s parking lot in an apparent attempt to strike an individual with her vehicle. Preliminary evidence indicates that the suspect had targeted this individual that they were attempting to run over.
The driver failed to stop when the SRD activated their vehicle’s emergency lights and siren, initiating a pursuit. The suspect’s vehicle was finally brought to a stop on Shepherd Road, where they were taken into custody.
The juvenile suspect was arrested and charged with Aggravated Domestic Assault, Felony Evading, and Driving Without a License.
