Jan. 18 Police Briefs

The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

Day Shift January 17, 2023

23-000693- 1300 BLK Spring Creek Road- Alarm- Police responded to check the church. On scene staff advised the alarm was accidental.

23-000694- 5301 Ringgold Road- Panhandler/FI- The caller advised a male was panhandling on the sidewalk. On scene police spoke with him, checked for warrants, and sent him on his way.

23-000696- 1000 BLK South Seminole Drive- A business owner advised a crew had gone to Memphis with materials for a job, towing a single axle, enclosed cargo trailer. Once back to the shop today, they discovered the tag was missing. It is unknown if it was lost or stolen somewhere between East Ridge and Memphis. The tag was entered into NCIC.

23-000699- 1600 BLK East Ridge Avenue- Alarm- Police responded to check the residence. On scene the house appeared secure.

23-000701- 900 BLK Hurst Street- Burglary- The caller advised he found the rear door to the vacant duplex kicked in. On scene police spoke with the caller. There was no evidence to process. There are no suspects.

23-000702- 183 I-24 West- Wellbeing Check- The caller advised a female was walking along the interstate. On scene the female was not located.

23-000706- 1 BLK Lynncrest Drive- Open Door- The caller advised he found his neighbor’s front door open. On scene police checked the residence and found the screen door locked. The neighbor opened the screen door and officers cleared the residence. It did not appear anyone had made entry.

Night Shift January 17-18, 2023

23-000714- 3900 Ringgold Road- Drug arrest- Police arrested a party for possession of fentanyl for resale, possession methamphetamine for resale, and possession of a handgun during the commission of a felony after he was contacted at a gas station.

23-000716- 1600 Springvale Road, Springvale Park- Suspicious Activity- Police contacted four juveniles and an adult male loitering in Springvale Park at night.

23-000718- 1600 BLK Prigmore Road – Domestic Assault – Police arrested a woman after she assaulted her boyfriend.

23-000720- 3700 BLK Connelly Lane- Suspicious Person-Unfounded- A citizen called reporting that 2 males were on her front lawn and would not leave. Upon arrival no one was located, nor any tracks on the lawn.
