Jan. 7 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports” provided by the administration.

Jan. 6 Day Shift

526 Notre Dame Avenue (suspicious person):

A caller reported a party in the area wearing a vest and poking at water meters with a stick. Contact was made with with an individual with Urban GIS, who advised he was mapping water meters for TAWC.

5816 Ringgold Road (unauthorized use):

U-Haul contacted police and requested a report on a moving truck which had been rented in late November and never returned. U-Haul has been unable to contact the person who rented the vehicle, and they do not have any identification on the driver.

 Night Shift

1200 S Seminole Dr (Arrest 21-000233):

Justin Hera was taken into custody for Public Intoxication after he was found intoxicated by the roadside.

3821 Edwards Terr (Stolen Vehicle 21-000235):

Police responded to a single vehicle crash. When police arrived, witnesses stated the driver left the area. The vehicle was found to be stolen. The driver was not located.

6725 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-000239):

Jessica Elliott was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

3100 Ringgold Rd (AOA Arrest):

Michael Flannigan Jr. was detained and transported to the Hamilton County Jail on county warrants.

5318 Spriggs St (Arrest 21-000242):

Police responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the roadway. Officers contacted the occupants of the vehicle and immediately detected the odor of marijuana. Christian Wampler was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.  Pasey Chechakos was taken into custody for Possession of THC oil and Public Intoxication.

5712 Ringgold Rd (Miscellaneous 21-000247):

The reporting party wished to speak with police regarding his wife not picking him up at Groome’s Transportation. The party was given a ride to the homeless shelter in Chattanooga.

6513 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-000248):

Miguel Cuaves was taken into custody on East Ridge warrants and transported to the Hamilton County Jail after he was found on the sidewalk behind Champy’s at 03:30 AM.
