July 30 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from “pass along reports” proved by the ERPD.

July 28 Day Shift

21-010703 – 1000 block Floyd Dr – Domestic Assault/Cruelty to an Animal –

A woman reported that her husband, Michael Clark, had intentionally killed her cat and then assaulted her after the incident.  Police and Animal Services went to the home and located a dead cat in the garbage with injuries consistent with the woman’s statement.  Warrants were obtained and Michael Clark was arrested at his place of work and transported to the Hamilton County Jail at Silverdale. 

6739 Ringgold Road (arrest):

Cheyenne Parker was taken into custody for DUI following a call regarding a suspicious person in the area.

5319 Ringgold Road (burglary):

Police were dispatched to the Christian Family Bookstore regarding a burglary. Upon arrival, police spoke with the owner who stated sometime during the night someone entered the unlocked trailer that sits at the dock. The owner just wanted police to be aware as there is no suspect information. It is unknown what was taken from the trailer.

6016 Ringgold Rd:

Tabatha Slay was arrested for driving on revoked for DUI following a traffic stop at this location.

Night Shift

Twenty-one semi-trucks were stopped between 3300 and 3500 blocks of Ringgold Road.

21-010718  4214 Ringgold Road / Arrest-Warrant:

Darius A. Mitchell was arrested on Alias Capias warrant for Driving on Suspended.

21-010719  4214 Ringgold Road / Arrest-Warrant:

Ben A. Childers was arrested on Forfeiture Capias warrants for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Public Intoxication.

21-010746 5394 Reneau Way / Suspicious Person:

A juvenile male was arrested for attempted auto burglary, resisting arrest, and assault on police following an attempt to gain entry into a vehicle at this location.

21-010723- S. Terrace (theft)-

The complainant called police to advise her Georgia tag (TBD0449) was stolen off her vehicle that was parked at At Home on 7/28/2021 between the hours of 0600-1630. The tag was entered into NCIC and report is on file.

21-010724- 485 S. Moore Road (theft of a motor vehicle)-

The complainant called police to advise she met an unknown white male from Georgia to sell a 2006 Honda CBR silver in color from Facebook. The male stated he was going to take the bike out for a test drive. However, he never returned with the bike. The motorcycle was entered into NCIC and report is on file.

21-010732- 5418 Ringgold Road (Arrest)-

During a consensual encounter, Daniel Whitehorn was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

21-010739: 6701 Ringgold Rd- Suspicious Vehicle/Arrest-

Following a consensual encounter, Lisa Baird was found to be in possession of a quarter ounce of meth, oxycodone, marijuana and valium.

21-010745: 1049 Lansdell Rd- Suspicious person/larceny/warrant service-

A citizen called in a suspicious person loading lawn equipment into a truck. Officers located a truck matching that description and having a weedeater, leaf blower and chainsaw in the back. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was identified as Kiana Donahue. The initial caller came to the scene and confirmed Donahue was the one they saw. The owner of the lawn equipment (Vicente Landscaping) responded to the scene and retrieved their equipment but declined to press charges. However, Donahue had outstanding warrants and was transported to Silverdale.
