June 17 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

June 15 Day Shift

22-008412- 119 Frawley Road- Unknown Trouble-

The caller advised a female was walking to her residence and being followed by a man driving a green truck.  The man was said to not be wearing pants. On scene the woman reported she was walking back to her residence when an unknown male driver of a green pickup truck pulled up to offer a ride. As she was about to get in, she saw the male expose his genitalia to her before driving off. The suspect was believed to reside in the area. After a short search, contact was made with a man on Martha Avenue as a possible suspect. He denied involvement but was found to have an active East Ridge capias warrant. He was taken into custody for the warrant. Investigation is ongoing.

22-008414- 6800 block Martha Avenue- Warrant Service-

Nicholas HENDERSON was taken into custody on an outstanding East Ridge arrest warrant for Probation Capias/Petition to Revoke (DUI). There is a NO BOND. Court date is set for June 28 at East Ridge Municipal Court.

22-008424- 5300 block Bennett Road- DOA/Possible Overdose-

Police were dispatched with ERFD and EMS on a possible overdose at this location. On scene ERFD started CPR but had no success.  The subject was deceased.  On call CID and the ME’s office was contacted and responded. The body was transported to the forensics center.

Night Shift

6513 Ringgold Road/Disorderly Conduct (22-008447)

Darrius Brown was arrested at the Waffle House after causing a disorder with the waitress and several other customers inside the store.

22-008449 / 4300 Ringgold Road / Arrest-

Mark Miller, was arrested for DUI at this location following a traffic stop.

6100 block Welworth Ave (Overdose 22-008433):

Police responded to this address regarding a male overdosing on prescription medication. Police made contact with the man, who repeatedly dozed off and could not speak a complete sentence. EMS Medics transported him to Erlanger East Hospital.

80 Interstate 75 SB / Crash-Other Jurisdiction: 

A pickup pulling a boat caused a Ford Focus to veer off the road and hit a bridge railing.  The Point of Impact occurred in Chattanooga.

John Ross Road @ Greenslake Road / Crash-Possible Injury: 

A subject turned into the path of a northbound pickup truck, causing a crash.  The subject was transported to Parkridge Medical Center for treatment.  22-008443
