June 23 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

June 21 Day Shift

22-008718- 6725 Ringgold Road- Disorder-

The caller advised people were going through a car on the lot of the business. He advised once confronted the people became angry. On scene police spoke with the caller. The suspicious people had already left the area.

22-008730- 6514 Ringgold Road- Theft-

The complainant and his spouse reported their belongings had been stolen from the premises. They advised they left three suitcases and two acoustic guitars on the side of the Mapco building the previous evening around 2300 to 0000 hours when they left to go to work. When they arrived around 1150 hours this morning, they discovered the property was gone. The complainant advised he was told by a store employee who reviewed the camera footage that an older woman was seen carting the items away. Police spoke with a manager who said she could not review footage at the time of the call. There is no suspect information at this time. During the call, dispatch advised that the complainant was listed as a missing/endangered person out of Walker County, GA. Given he appeared normal and was not experiencing a crisis I advised dispatch to notify Walker County to remove him as Missing.

22-008737- 482 McBrien Road- Unconscious Person-

The caller advised a male was sitting against the building at this location. The male appeared to be unconscious. On scene police checked the area but the male had already left.

Night Shift

Tombras Ave @ Greenbriar Rd / Public Intoxication:

Dawn Chastain was taken into custody for public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia after she was observed arguing with a male on the sidewalk. (22-008745)

22-008724 – 3600 block Shirl Jo Lane – Domestic Assault / Violation TPO-

Following a disorder, a man was arrested for domestic assault, and a woman was arrested for violating an order of protection.

1410 Mack Smith Rd/theft /fugitive:

Amanda Durham called police to report the theft of a cell phone. Ms. Durham was placed under arrest after it was discovered she had an active warrant through sessions court. A report is on file for the theft. (22-008750)

1417 Mack Smith Rd/ Simple possession:

Johnathan K. was loitering in the East Ridge Residence area. After police contacted him, he was found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine. The man was issued a misdemeanor citation and released. (22-008756)

6500 Garner St/ Traffic Stop-Arrest:

Ron Deanecelli was arrested following a traffic stop at this location after being found to have an active warrant out of Lookout Mountain.
