June 9 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

June 7 Day Shift

21-008027- 3657 Ringgold Road (Cascade Motel)- Wellbeing Check-

Dispatch advised that a man called in talking about an unknown conspiracy. They requested police check on the individual. On arrival police spoke with the man and he was ok.

21-008028- 3400 Lisa Drive – Missing Person-

The caller advised she had not seen a male subject since Saturday and wished to report him missing. She was advised he was transported to the hospital after overdosing Saturday night.

21-008029- 6951 Glen Errol Way- Theft-

The resident called to report his garbage can missing. He was contacted and provided with a complaint number.

21-008030- 1310 East End Avenue- Burglary-

The complainant called to report an unknown suspect was observed on video entering a construction trailer Sunday night. He declined to file a report but did request an extra watch.

21-008032- 411 Dunlap Avenue- Vandalism-

On arrival police met with the complainant. She stated her boyfriend, Isaiah Simmons, got upset in the bedroom and broke her TV. She advised he also busted several windows in the home. Police attempted to contact the owner of the house with the information given but there was no answer. Vandalism charges are pending if the owner of the properties decides to prosecute. Police will pursue domestic assault charges against Simmons for placing the complainant in imminent fear of bodily injury while he was vandalizing the home.

21-008039- 5322 Clemons Road- Suspicious Vehicle-

The caller advised of a suspicious red truck driving around the property. On arrival the truck had already left the area.

21-008041- 4350 Ringgold Road- Wellbeing Check-

The caller advised of a white male in the parking lot refusing to leave. On arrival police spoke to Robert E. He was obviously in mental distress and appeared to be suffering from a drug induced hysteria. He was transported to Parkridge East by EMS.

21-008046- 5319 Ringgold Road (Family Dollar)- AOA-

CPD requested police check the business for a stolen Ford F350 bucket truck (TN 59628H2). On arrival police checked the lot but no truck was observed. Police also checked the neighboring construction site with no luck.

21-008050- 7381 Haven Hill Lane- Improperly Parked Auto/Stolen Vehicle Recovery/Arrest-

The caller advised a pickup truck was blocking his driveway. On arrival the truck was found to be stolen out of Hamilton County. Cason Ford was arrested on theft and drug charges. The vehicle was towed by Cannons.

 Night Shift

21-008064 4214 Ringgold Road / Warrant Service / Arrest:

Charles Galloway was taken into custody for an active East Ridge warrant and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

21-008070 4214 Ringgold Road / Warrant Service:

Vanessa Woodard was arrested for active East Ridge Warrants and transported to the Hamilton County Jail by Chattanooga Police Department.

1503 McDonald Road / Intoxicated Persons:

Stacy McCombs and Norman Bean were taken into custody for public intoxication following an incident at this location. 21-008083
