Day Shift April 28: A Squad
26-002698- 601 Justice Way- Warrant Service – A suspect was served with two arrest warrants (child endangerment) while in custody at Hamilton County Jail.
26-003878- 6700 BLK Ringgold Road- Burglary – Officers responded to the storage facility regarding stolen property from a rented unit. ERPD spoke with the complainant who stated his key was unable to unlock the lock on his storage unit. He noticed a unit two units down from his had the exact same lock, which his key opened. The renter was able to break the lock on his storage unit prior to officers’ arrival and noticed his property was gone. ERPD documented all property reported missing and will continue the investigation.
26-003883- 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Suspicious Person – A female with dark hair, fake eyelashes, and wearing all black was seen open palm striking her stroller and striking a child. The complainant was unable to meet with officers. Officers made contact witch a woman matching the description of the female, but it was determined it was not her. ERPD patrolled the area and was unable to locate the female.
Night Shift April 28: C Squad
26-002501 – 2700 BLK Rossville Boulevard, Chattanooga – Warrant Service – Chattanooga Police officers detained a man for two possible warrants through the City of East Ridge. Upon verification of the arrest warrants, East Ridge officers responded to Chattanooga and took custody of him. The suspect was then transported to Hamilton County Jail without further incident. The original charges on the warrants were Simple Possession of an Illegal Drug and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
26-003887 – 400 BLK Alice Drive – Assist a Citizen – Police were dispatched to the above address in reference to possible illegal tracking devices. A resident stated she was concerned there were tracking devices on her vehicle and listening devices in her home. The responding officers informed the citizen that they did not have the capability to detect surveillance devices but offered alternative solutions to resolve the issue.
26-003888 – 900 BLK South Crest Road – Suspicious Person – A citizen reported that an unknown female was walking through his front yard and demonstrating strange behavior. East Ridge officers checked the area twice but did not locate the interloper. The citizen then became upset because he thought he lived in Chattanooga and felt the Chattanooga Police Department should handle the incident. East Ridge police checked the area throughout the night but did not locate the female.
26-003893 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft from Vehicle – The caller reported her purse had been stolen from her vehicle while she was working at the restaurant. She checked her bank records and found a transaction at a gas station on Ringgold Road shortly after the theft. Officers reviewed the security camera footage and determined the suspect was a male driving a black or gray Honda. Police were unable to obtain a registration plate on the vehicle due to the video footage quality. Arrest warrants are pending for the identification of the suspect.
26-003897 – 3900 BLK South Mission Oaks Drive – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to two separate reports of a loud noise, possibly gunfire, between Greenslake Road and South Mission Oaks. Patrol checked the area and did not locate any property damage or anyone in distress. In addition, police found no obvious power outages that would indicate a blown transformer.
25-003899 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Well Being Check / Arrest for Other Agency – An employee reported that a male in a maroon SUV had been at the gas pumps for over two hours. Police approached the vehicle and found the party asleep in the driver’s seat. It was found that he was not intoxicated, just tired. Upon further investigation, police found that the man did have an active warrant through Catoosa County, GA. He was placed in custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-003904 – 3100 BLK Ringgold Road – Assist Other Agency – East Ridge officers assisted the Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) with a shots fired investigation on Woodside Street in Chattanooga. The reporting party stated that a male wearing a hoodie shot at their home several times and left in a truck. Police checked the area in and around the Bachman Tunnels. The suspect was not located and CPD officers were still investigating the incident, reference CPD 26-035185.
