Day Shift August 11: B Squad

26-007656-5302 Stone Street-Animal Call – East Ridge Animal Services requested police response to the animal shelter regarding a dog being abandoned at the dog park on 8-8-2026. Further investigation is needed before criminal charges can be pursued, report on file.

26-007662-6500 BLK Ringgold Road Mapco- Traffic/Arrest – Police were alerted to an LPR hit involving a stolen Tennessee registration plate attached to a green Nissan Pathfinder in the 6500 block of Ringgold Road. Officers located the vehicle in the same area. The driver and sole occupant was found to be driving on a revoked license for DUI and was subsequently placed under arrest.

26-007669- 3300 BLK Ringgold Road- Arrest – Officers responded to coin laundry regarding a nude male. Officers made temporary pants for him out of a trash bag before taking him into custody for Disorderly Conduct and Indecent Exposure.

26-007672- Spring Creek Road at Ringgold Road- Disorder – Police were called after a passerby observed an irate female get out of a red Dodge Charger. They then said the vehicle pulled into the liquor store parking lot, and then the female walked off. Police drove through the area and could not locate the parties involved.

Night Shift August 11: D Squad

26-007690 – North Mack Smith Road – Alarm – Officers responded to the above location for alarm activation. Patrol located an unsecured door. Officers cleared the business and did not locate anyone inside. Dispatch contacted the responsible party, who declined to respond to the scene and requested officers secure the door if possible. Officers were able to secure the door.

26-007694 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Psychiatric Emergency – Officers responded to the above address after the desk clerk reported that a man was outside screaming and disturbing the guests. An officer located the party lying in the parking lot talking to himself. He admitted to being a methamphetamine user, but stated he last used three weeks ago. The man appeared to be suffering from drug-induced psychosis. Hamilton County EMS responded to the scene and transported for treatment.

26-007688 – 5300 BLK Greenbriar Road – Domestic Disorder – Officers responded to the above address after the caller stated that his ex-girlfriend refused to leave his property. On scene, Officers observed the woman loading her belongings into her vehicle so she could vacate the area. Officers attempted to speak with the responsible party, but he refused to come to the door and told officers that they were no longer needed.

2026-08-16739 – 24WB 184.4 – Assist Other Agency – ERPD Responded to a Hamilton County traffic stop to assist a deputy that requested emergency assistance. The officers arrived, and the Deputy was in a heated argument with the driver of a tractor trailer outside of the vehicle on the right shoulder of the interstate. The ERPD officers spoke with the driver, deescalating the situation, informing him of Tennessee law and the United States Case law Pennsylvania vs Mimms. The driver was no longer irritated, and the deputy was able to complete the traffic stop without incident. Eastridge officers went back into service.

26-007682 – 5800 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – ERPD Officer got out with a male sleeping beside a business matching the description of a male shoplifting suspect Catoosa County broadcast earlier in the shift. Catoosa county advised earlier in the shift that they had confirmed warrants on the individual. Dispatch advised that Catoosa County did not know the name of the subject they supposedly had warrants on. Since the individual that East Ridge officers were out with did not have any active warrants and the adjacent agency did not know the name of the individual, East Ridge released him.

2026-08-16799 – 1654 Mack Smith Road – BOLO – Catoosa County broadcast an individual who stole property from the dollar general and advised that he had a warrant for shoplifting. ERPD stopped a male on foot matching the clothing description given that was in the general area of the bolo. Catoosa County arrived on scene to identify him, and they stated that it was not him. They showed the officer a photo from the security camera. The officer released the individual and went back into service.
