Day Shift August 12: A Squad
26-007701 – 800 BLK Belvoir Hills Drive – Wires Down – Police responded to Fountain and Belvoir Hills where a wire was observed crossing the roadway. EPB was notified, and ERFD coiled the loose wire near the utility pole before departing from the scene.
26-007702 – 700 BLK Germantown Circle – Deceptive Practice – A female stated an unknown person charged a DoorDash Pass to her account. DoorDash could not confirm which account the money was sent to, but it did not match either account she uses.
26-007705- 600 BLK South Moore Road- Deceptive Practice/Fraud – The reporting party reported contacted what he thought was McAffee tech support via a number on his screen after his computer showed it had a virus. A “Ryan Wilson” told him he needed access to his computer and proceeded to open the victim’s bank info on the computer. “Wilson” then proceeded to wire $9650 to and account. A fraud report is on file.
Night Shift August 12: C Squad
26-007724 – 3600 BLK Missionaire Avenue – Disorder – Officers were dispatched to the above after two juvenile females were arguing over lululemon shorts. One female refused to return the shorts to the other. After some convincing the items were returned.
26-007725 – 6000 BLK Wentworth Avenue – Suicide threats – A party called in stating that a person has been posting and saying concerning things online. Officers spoke with the resident who claimed he was ok just off his medication. He agreed to voluntarily being seen by and doctor.
26-007716 – 200 BLK Eads Street – Disorder Prevention – A man requested police to stand by while he picked up his daughter from the child’s mother at the complex. He stated he was unfamiliar with the area. He was advised to conduct future child exchanges at the PD for safety.
