Day Shift August 14: B Squad
26-007770-1300 BLK Boyd Street-Disorder/Arrest – A woman was taken into custody for vandalism after she broke the back window to her now ex boyfriend’s residence during a verbal altercation; she was transported to jail without issue.
26-007772- 5300 BLK Spriggs Street- Disorder with a Weapon – Police responded to a report of a male possibly armed with a firearm. The party was detained after a reporting party stated she heard him say he was going to get a gun during a dispute involving $30. No firearm was located during the investigation. The man was acting erratically and making statements that were difficult to understand. At the residents’ request, the offending party was trespassed from the property and advised not to return.
26-007781- 4300 BLK Bennet Road-MVC No Injuries/DUI Arrest – A driver was arrested for DUI and Implied consent following a motor vehicle crash in front of East Ridge High school. She was transported to jail without issue.
26-007788-3300 BLK Ringgold Road- Back EMS – Police responded to an unconscious party on the side of the road. The man was treated by ERPD and fire until EMS arrived on scene. It is believed he was having a medical emergency, and no signs indicated an overdose at the time.
26-007795- 5300 BLK Greenbriar Road- Arrest – A woman was taken into custody on outstanding East Ridge warrants for domestic assault, reckless endangerment, and neglect to a vulnerable adult. She was transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
Night Shift August 14: D Squad
26-007800 – Reneau Way / Geswein Court– Traffic Stop/Arrest – An ERPD officer was following and observing a Northbound vehicle on McBrien Road. The driver displayed odd behavior by continuing to look back at the officer following him and making a sudden turn into a dead-end road. He continued driving to the very end and attempted to turn around in the cul-de-sac. The driver exited the vehicle and bizarrely walked towards the officer. He began to tell a story unprovoked that was incomprehensible. The Officer established probable cause to conduct a search of the vehicle. The officer located several baggies of marijuana inside a subwoofer speaker in the trunk, a methamphetamine pipe under the driver’s seat, and more methamphetamine in the shoe of the individual, along with approximately $200. The man was placed in custody for possession with intent to resell, simple possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
26-007810 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Hold – Fort Oglethorpe Officers located a wanted party and contacted ERPD. Officers confirmed the warrant for theft and the suspect was transported to Catoosa County Jail.
26-007812 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road– Narcotics Violation – An ERPD officer noticed individuals on bicycles on Ringgold Road without headlights or reflective lights on the rear. The officer contacted the individuals and explained the reason for the stop. The officer was given consent to pat down the outer layer of clothing. The officer felt a slim cylindrical tube with a bulbous bowl at the end. The officer knew it was a meth pipe and grabbed it. The individual also had 1.6 grams of meth inside his sock.
26-007814-I75 SB @exit 1-MVC No injuries/DUI Arrest – A caller advised that a silver Toyota RAV4 had crashed and was on the opposite side of the guardrail. Upon arrival, police located the vehicle and the driver. After investigation, the suspect was placed into custody and charged with driving under the influence and failure to maintain lane. She was transported to Hamilton County Jail without issues.
