Day Shift August 27: A Squad
6-008229 – 800 BLK Belvoir Avenue – Well Being Check – Police were called to assist an elderly male who was reportedly walking in the street sans shirt. A concerned citizen told police she observed the man walking and was concerned due to the heat. He advised that he was lost and couldn’t remember how to return home. ERFD and HCEMS evaluated the man and advised his vitals were stable. The male was given a courtesy ride back to his residence on Marlboro Avenue.
26-008243- 601 Justice Way- Warrant Service – A woman was served on an outstanding East Ridge Alias Capias for Driving on Revoked, Suspended, of Cancelled License while at Hamilton County Jail.
26-007920 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road– Motor Vehicle vs. Building – On 8/14/2026, a patron of the laundromat backed into the building, causing approximately $3,000 in damage to the storefront glass, and left the scene. Management later provided surveillance footage, and police identified the vehicle and registered owner. Attempts to contact the suspected driver were unsuccessful. Management declined prosecution and only requested the driver’s insurance information to cover the damages. Nothing further currently.
Night Shift August 27: C Squad
26-008272 – 10 BLK Ridgeside Road – Auto Burglary – While conducting patrol in the City of Ridgeside, police located a gold Lexus with the driver’s side door and trunk open. Patrol observed the glovebox and center console open, with personal belongings scattered inside. Police spoke with the vehicle owner who admitted to leaving the vehicle unsecured due to his windows being smashed out in prior theft incidents. He did not want a report completed and advised nothing of value was taken.
26-008259 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Commercial Fire – Police responded regarding an employee reporting the smell of smoke inside the building. Fire personnel arrived and determined the smoke was coming from a campfire on the street behind the building.
26-008267 – 5400 BLK Connell Street – Domestic Disorder – Police met with the victim at the PD. While she was with her boyfriend, he assaulted her several days prior. Currently, no warrants are being sought due to a lack of supporting evidence.
