Day Shift August 29: B Squad
26-008320-5400 BLK Ringgold Road- Theft – A man reported to police that sometime between the hours of 0330 and 0700 on 8-29, his black mini camper was stolen from the parking lot of the bank; the trailer also contained a Smith and Wesson .40 caliber handgun. The trailer and firearm were entered into NCIC as stolen, report on file.
26-008336 – 3100 BLK Mason Drive – AOA – ERPD was dispatched to the above address to secure a scene for HCEMS after a person experiencing psychiatric emergency smearing materials throughout their home. Police arrived to find the party had calmed. EMS personnel safely transported the party from the scene.
26-008346 – 100 BLK Windmere Drive – Open Door – The residents of the above address have been out of the country for a week. A house sitter reported that a rear door was found open, and relayed that the homeowner said she had received alerts that someone had put in the wrong security code to the home for the past few days. Police cleared the residence and found no sign of forced entry or other disturbance in the home.
Night Shift August 29: D Squad
26-008362 – 3500 BLK Cathy Lane– Suspicious Activity – Officers responded to the above address after the homeowner’s vehicle alarm was set off. Officers checked the area and spoke with the homeowner. Nothing was damaged or out of place, and officers returned to service.
26-008360 – 1400 BLK Saint Thomas Street– Disorder – Officers were dispatched to the above address in reference to a male and female in a verbal disorder. As officers were arriving on scene, both parties got into a vehicle and left. Patrol conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle for a window tint violation and inquired about the disorder. After speaking with all parties in the vehicle, officers concluded that the disorder was verbal only, and all parties were released.
