Law and Order Feb. 12

Day Shift February 11: A Squad

26-001292 – 700 BLK Barlow Way – Assault/Arrest – A man was arrested for punching his neighbor in the face following an argument over a trash can placement.

26-001297 – 400 BLK Donaldson Road- Theft – Police spoke with the reporting party who stated her son’s bicycle was stolen from her front porch. Her neighbor had initially called police to report the theft and described the suspect as a taller, slim build, male who was last seen riding the bicycle going towards Germantown Road. The suspect has not been identified at this time.

26-001286 – 1600 BLK Prater Road – Theft – Police spoke with the caller who stated her TN tag was stolen from her vehicle. The tag was thought to have been removed from the vehicle at an East Rideg business on Tuesday evening. She later advised the tag was taken in Chattanooga. She was asked to report it with CPD.

26-001288 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Suspicious Person/Back EMS – Police responded to the business after a male was behaving oddly. Police identified the man from Florida who appeared to be in an altered mental state. HCEMS arrived and advised that he appeared to have an infection that could be contributing to his altered behavior. HCEMS transported for treatment.

26-001293 – 5500 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – Officers were dispatched to the laundry where they met with the caller to report that someone had stolen a single dress that belonged to his girlfriend. Officers could not find any evidence of theft.

26-001295 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Officers were dispatched to the restaurant where an employee claimed that her ex-boyfriend had been threatening to shoot up her mother’s house and her current job. Officers could not determine whether the threats originated inside East Ridge city limits, or Chattanooga city limits.

Night Shift February 11 : C Squad

6-001303 – 3400 BLK Crabtree Drive – Theft – The caller reported that a silver Smith & Wesson revolver was missing from his home. He stated the firearm normally sat on the nightstand next to his bed. He discovered the revolver was missing shortly after a friend left his house. The firearm was entered into NCIC as stolen. Police are working to gather more information on the potential suspect.

26-001312 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – Unknown 911 Call – Police were dispatched to this area after an un-named female called the 911 Dispatch Center. Upon callback, the woman stated she was trying to add 911 to her speed dial and accidently called the number. Police Officers checked the area but did not locate the female or any signs of distress.

26-001315 – 941 Spring Creek Road – Criminal Trespass – Hospital Security reported that a recently discharged patient was refusing to leave the premises. Police Officers responded to the hospital and located the party near a road. Staff also reported the party was being rude and disorderly with staff. The man was criminally trespassed from the property, and he left without further issue.
