Day Shift February 18: B Squad
26-001510- 5600 BLK Ringgold Road- Property Damage – The owner of the establishment requested a police report for property damage after the unidentified suspect caused damage to the outdoor ventilation system for the business.
26-001512- 3200 BLK Gleason Drive– Domestic Disorder/Arrest – Police responded to the above address regarding a domestic disorder. The reporting party advised her child’s father was lying on top of her vehicle to prevent her from leaving. The caller fled back into her apartment in fear for her safety. The male suspect was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault and false imprisonment.
26-001516-4214 Ringgold Road-Warrant Service/Arrest – A man turned himself in on an outstanding forfeiture capias warrant at the East Ridge Police Department. He was taken into custody and transported jail without issue.
26-001518- 601 Justice Way- Warrant Service – A man was served on an outstanding East Ridge warrant for burglary.
Night Shift February 18 : D Squad
26-001521-5300 BLK Dupont St-MVC No Injuries – The caller reported that a sedan had crashed into their residence, then reversed and fled the scene. Upon arrival, police spoke with the homeowners, who advised that they believed the suspect vehicle to be a red sedan. Officers canvassed the surrounding area to locate the vehicle; however, the suspect vehicle was not located.
26-001528 – 3200 BLK Castle Avenue – Unknown 911 – Police were dispatched after emergency services received a 911 call, followed by a hang-up. Upon responding, the police observed three adults who appeared to have been sleeping and stated there was no emergency, and their child had accidentally dialed 911.
26-001529 – 700 BLK Germantown Circle – Back EMS/Property Damage – East Ridge Firefighters made forced entry into an apartment after the resident experienced a medical emergency and was unable to unlock the apartment from inside. On-call maintenance was notified and responded to the apartment for emergency repairs.
