Law and Order Feb. 5

The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

Day Shift February 4 : B Squad

26-001091 – 100 BLK Cecil Lane– Domestic Disorder – Police responded to the above address for a domestic disorder. On scene police spoke with the parties. A female was determined to be the primary aggressor and taken into custody for domestic assault.

26-001094- 1300 BLK Saint Thomas Street- Theft – Police spoke with the caller about what he classified as an antique John Deere Tractor that was taken from his front yard. He alleged that a known man that lives nearby was responsible for the theft but did not have evidence at this time to support his claims. An incident report was completed.

26-001101- 6600 BLK Hilton Drive- Drug Overdose – Police responded to this location for a drug overdose complaint. The party was found at this location responsive to police interaction but with slurred speech and open alcoholic containers and various prescription medications around the bed he was on. EMS transported.

26-001104 – 3700 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder/Vandalism – Visting customers and employees reported a male driving a dark-colored Toyota 4Runner caused a disorder inside the store due to dissatisfaction with the speediness of the service. Witness stated the male subject yelled at employees and slung his beverage throughout the store causing a mess and upsetting the customer experience. The suspect then left the area in his vehicle. A warrant for disorderly conduct is pending identification of the subject.

26-001106- 3500 BLK Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop Arrest – Following a traffic stop, a woman was taken into custody and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving on a revoked license (DUI).

26-001107 – 3700 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – An employee reported a female became upset with their food safety handling/procedures and started yelling at the employees before leaving the store. The subject had left the area prior to police arrival.

Night Shift February 4 : D Squad

26-001111 – 900 BLK South Seminole- Civil Matter – Police responded to a report of a theft of a video game console. The caller stated her brother had stolen her Nintendo Switch while moving out. After speaking with all involved persons, the police could not determine who owned the console, and the issue would have to be resolved in civil court.
