Day Shift July 29: A Squad
26-007171- 4200 BLK Spriggs Street- Mental Health – Officers were dispatched to the above address after a party called in to express safety concerns for the resident. On scene, Officers contacted the party who initially stated she did not wish to harm herself; however, asked the responding officer repeatedly to harm her. Patrol placed her into protective custody and transported her without incident.
26-007164 – 5300 BLK Spriggs Street– Harassment – The reporting party advised that photographs he had previously shared privately with his now ex-girlfriend had been distributed without his consent. Officers contacted the ex-girlfriend, who admitted to sharing the photographs. The reporting party declined prosecution at this time, stating he only wanted the distribution and harassment to stop.
Night Shift July 29: C Squad
26-007177 – 10 BLK Franklin Place – Mental Health – The caller requested a police response four times during the shift. In the first two calls, she reported screams coming from the apartment above her. Police checked the apartment and found the residents sleeping with no signs of disorder. She later reported there was suspicious activity around her home. Police checked the area and found nothing unusual. The complainant then reported that her neighbor was looking in her windows and was possibly armed. Patrol once again checked the area and found no one around the home. Officers then spoke with the reporting party concerning her state of mind and potential misuse of 911.
26-007190 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Suspicious Person – ERPD responded to the parking lot regarding a suspicious person. Several individuals reported seeing a male walking back and forth for no apparent reason. Officers located the man and found he was just stretching his legs and exercising. Police asked him the to find a better location for his physical activities.
26-007191 – 1600 BLK McDonald Road – Traffic Stop / Back Other Agency – A police officer observed a white Chevrolet Suburban traveling with a non-functioning taillight. A traffic stop was initiated, but the driver continued moving forward until he stopped the vehicle in Georgia. The female passenger had a warrant for theft out of Georgia. A Catoosa County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the location and took custody.
